hoping a few experianced breeders might clarify somthing for me ..if a plant is polinated in a room that it cannot be removed from how long does the pollen need to set before the plant can be sprayed to spare other plants being pollinated? if anyone knows the time required for it to set would be much apreciated
ps i have looked thru afew pollenation threads but couldnt see this info

I polly mine with a paint brush... then spray lightly with water to "set" the pollen... then let it dry an hour before it goes back into general population... :toke: hope this helps

thanks jm so you can literally spray instantly without affecting the pollen ?

ingnore that question youvealready answered it lol im just flappin lol thanks again it does help

I do the same as JM.

As long as you don't soak the crap out of the plant you shouldn't have a problem

overspraying can wash pollen off... but a good dampening helps it stick

also... usually once pollen gets wet and dries out again its invalid... this prwevents pollying everything else in your GR... shut all fans and cross ventilation down... goto an isolated room.... spray room wet when finished... thats what i do for control of crosses..

thanks jm an shumway great help feel bit clearer now

hey harvestreaper. if you are concerned about pollinating the wrong plants...consider collecting your pollen in an envelope and then when ready, using a Q-tip in the pollen and apply to your branches or sites of the wanted plant where you would like seed production. good grow vibes to you.

hey buddy ,, i collected the pollen in an air tight containner an only dusted one branch with a q tip i was thinking i was being pretty carefulonly using a tiny amount when i noticed dust like particles in the air an got real spooked real fast ended up doing a deranged vacum impersonation lol,, i left the pollinated branch untouched fans off for around 5 hours then went back an sprayed it all down i will let plants dry off before turning fans back on as jm recomended ,thanks for your input buddy

thanks again for everyones help seems to have gone perfectly no sighn of any cross pollination an fast ripening seeds
