Hey guys i need some help (sorry for it been a bit long)

A freind of mine had 2 skunk no1's in veg for 3 weekes and something came up so they had to get rid so i took them, but before i did they was left in room for 4 days with only natural light and a rubish 11w house energy saver cfl left on 24hrs lol =), when i took them the only probs i could see is that they where a bit stretched, but i assumed that was because they have been left in a room and have stretched for the high window.

Anyway origanlly these where in bubble buckets looking nice and healthy and growing well, but as the buckets where not mine i transefered the 2 plants to a soil mix that i have left over from my last grow they been in there a week now and there not likeing it 1 bit.

In the moning when the lights go on they are fine and look healthy but about 3-4 hrs under the light they start to really droop i mean every leaf just drops an sags down but they then peak up again the next day after the lights have been out, its like they cant handle been under the light for long, and need the dark to recover any sugestions on why its doing this and how i can fix my babys to do what the should and just grow lol, ill try getting some pics up this afternoon.

Any help at all would be great =)

Hey Marc! What kind of light do you have them under and how close to the light are they? Also what are your temps in the space you have them in now?

they was under a 600w hps and there still under the same the lights not changed, temps hover around 82f-86f had some hot days lately so it hangs around 30c, lights hang about 15in from tops of plants, im sure it has something to do with them been left out of the grow room for the 4 days.

Hey Marc, welcome to AFN. you're pushing them too much too fast. Give them some good veg nutes run your cycle backwards if need be. Meaning start them on 8 hours, next day 9, until you get them to about 14 on. Also raise the height of your lamp as high as possible and lower it daily until they show just a tinge of burn then raise it about 4-6" and maintain that distance unless their tolerance has built up.

Also make sure they are and stay well ventilated. When you hit 80+ heat dispersion becomes pretty critical as to how they grow. My plants face triple digit temps a lot of the time but they are super ventilated and you'd be surprised what a help it is.

sweet thanks so so much mate i thought they was going to die lol i do as you say and let you know how it goes thanks once again mate

One thing to remember no matter how valuable they may be they are a weed and are pretty tough for the most part. Hope everything works out for ya.

Hitman is right on about being able to run high temps if you have good ventilation... I personally run mine at 91 degrees under a 400W HPS however, I get great air circulation and they do just fine. I also keep my light almost 2 feet above them 24 inches give or take... They don't stretch or anything. I would listen to Hitman's advice. Best of luck man!
