I'm running out of vertical space in my grow tent as my two plants begin to flower. They were being heat stressed so I moved the light up and now they have gotten significantly taller in the last week. I don't have much room and I'm worried I'm going to run out. Is they any way to keep them bushy this late in the games? The stems are thick and I don't want to snap them. I will post pics below.

I am sorry for the direction of each pic I am in a hurry and do not have time to retake them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is the thing if you are running out of room at this point you may have a difficult time with space. These girls are going to just keep growing and they may hit the max height. I noticed that you still have some decent amount of room left and you may need to pull those lights up until they hit max height. What are your running temps at? Heat stress can come from high temps or having the lights too close,I am guessing too close would add burn to the heat stress. I keep mine 18 inches away with a 650 watt hps. I had my first grow go 3 inches they got so tall. To keep the shorter there are two ways. One is topping so the vert growth stops but they get bushy another is read the life of an auto flower it's sticky at the top of this fourm. Basically give them or incorporate them at week 4 which keeps the shorter,if you wait untill week 5 or 6 they will keep growing at a crazy pace. Hope this helps some.

You can also bend them over.. Pretty easy to do.. If you decide to go that route Just tie the lower main stem to one side and bend over the top gently and tie it down you can start with a slight bend and then bend a little more in a few days.. It isn't a bad thing at all

Exactly man! This is kinda what will happen...much less wattage being used here.

I can't seem to find a good bending video pertaining to autos though and I worry I will snap my main stem.
Well good news is...my thermometer/hygrometer go knocked off the back pole and fell flat on her. Split both sides of a 3" seedling! I slit a straw, wrapped it around and taped it. Well she was starting to stand up on her own again and what happens? The same damn thing lol, so I figured that was the end of her and just left her at an angle and kept taking care of her as normal just to see what'd happen. Well several under waterings/over feedings later, here she is, two weeks from being done! I just drilled holes in the sides of the lip of the container and loosely zip tied the branches down and manipulated them into going different directions so I could try to maximize the 100w led. I know I stunted her and probably everything under the sun. But she didn't hermi so I'm happy. I know it's best to do all your training in veg, but if something needed more light, just carefully bend stuff or do something to bend or hold whatever out of the way. Steaks, zipties wire, anything really! Just be careful and you should do just fine though. Just don't force it lol.

Okay so when I bend am I supposed to bend outwards or am I supposed to bend the branches into like a circular formation

Also I'm using a 400w hid lighting system. My plants have begun to flower and I'm ready to switch out my my bulb for the hps

I just kinda bent them so they'd rest on the edge of the pot. If the were on the soil side, they were moved so they would rest on the rim of the pot. If up top, I tied them down to the sides. Like I said just train them. You can pretty well make them do as you please. The stuff on the bottom is gonna grow towards the light eventually. It doesn't have to be perfect, just functional. For me, in my situation, all I had to do was train the branches. Sometimes you can pinch the stem until you feel kind of a "pop" and you can bend it and support it for a few days and it will form kind of a knuckle and harden wherever you popped it. Might wanna be careful if it's going into flower though. I'd hate for her to develop manly parts from too much stress lol. But I can't remember what that "method" is called, might just be another for of LST lol. But I'd just bend them whichever way you feel like it's going to benefit and get the most light to the bud sites. I hope maybe it helps ya a little bit. I'm still pretty new myself so I apologize if I'm not a ton of help lol. I'll do my best to help ya whichever way I can though!

The method is called super cropping, you are damaging the inside of the branches and then a node forms and that creates a new highway for intake. I have not heard of that method used on auto's but i am sure someone here has.
