New Grower Plants getting tall

Hello, im completely new to growing and autos see to be in their own little club. My Auto AK is approaching 1 month old (see sig link for details) and I have plenty of pistils all over, with a very happy looking plant

The trouble is the height of the plant, am I able to start LST whilst 2 weeks in to flowering as I fear if she grows any more I wont have the room in my tent without the plant getting too close to the bulb.

How much more growth can I expect in the last 5 weeks (ish) as she has already more doubled in height since beginning to flower.

I know there are multiple questions but will appreciate all advice.

Edit: does anyone have any experience of the heat shields for the bulbs that are available as this may give me a couple more inches

You've still got 1-2 more weeks of vertical growth, then it will slow down and the plants energy will go into making buds. It's not unusual to have accelerated vertical growth in weeks 4 and 5. I've had as much as an inch a day during that period. After that it probably won't grow more than another inch or two. No reason why you can't start LSTing it now, no need to wait.

So it's looks though I may well have a bit more growth so I better tie that lady down, woohoo plant bondage here I come, thanks for hte response.
