This morning the girls were very lush and green with their leaves bent in an angle formation pointing towards the light. Now they are just relaxed. Do the plants do this for a certain amount of time and then go relaxed? What is the reason for this?

Not sure what you mean by an angle formation pointing toward the light. Got a picture?

Nitrogen can cause leaves to curl upwards...back off a little...if thats your deal.

or are you talking about all the leaves looking extra perky? I have seen healthy plants perk up after a water to the point that the fan leaves are pointing 45 degrees to the floor. I have seen this especially with northern lights, but most will do it if they're happy.

Leaves point/stetch towards the light when they are not getting enough light... And they will angle slightly towards the light if they are healthy and getting sufficient light IMO. I notice the leaves will be drooping for the first little bit when the lights come on, as they are just waking up. Another reason I see them droop is if they have been overwatered, or if they are hungry...

Yes, I did mean perky. I couldn't think of a word to match the description LOL. This happens about 6 hours before the light shuts off. Now I 100% know the girls are happy :-)
