Well im going to be growing 2 plants. I am going to go for autoflowers i need them short and fast! I will be using Bio Bizz All-Mix for the soil. Also only using Bloom low dosage increasing it by week until the week before harvest. I will be plantingthe seedling straight into a standard pot. I will have One normal bulb from tesco 100-150 W per plant. One bulb above the plant. How far should the light be away from the plant? 12-12 all the way until finishing. I will have fans blowing on the plants for 12 hours a day. I am going to do the Big Bhudda Cheese automatic since i heard they are very easy to grow. Also I will be growing Fast Bud 2 which says it takes 7 and half weeks from germination. Once i can see few leaves will I actually be ready to harvest 7 and half weeks later? Also how much and how often will i need to water the plants. Will this be enough for 2 successful grows? What am i missing?Outdoor

When the spring starts coming i also might be interested in doing a few outdoor garden grows. Will autoflowers succeed in the UK weather?

You shouldn't use bloom nutes until vertical growth has stopped and full flowering has started,I take it you have cfls and they should be on 18/6 or 20/4.They should be about 6 inches above the plants.Fans can be left on 24/7 for air circulation.Just water when plants are dry.Lift the plant and when its real light its time to water. I don't no what the weather is like in the UK,but you need sun and warm temps for the proper grow.:smokebuds:

Welcome to AFN. All Mix can be a bit hot for seedlings. I suggest you start them in Light Mix, then move them to All Mix after they sex. I agree, you will also need some veg nutes as well as the bloom nutes. Light at 20/4 and fan on 24/7. For watering, get a feel for how your pots feel when they are dry and only give water when they feel like that. Weed plants like a wet/dry cycle so sufficient oxygen can reach the roots. Also, expect them to take a bit longer than advertised. Most dwarf auto strains take 9-11 weeks to fully mature.

I would also suggest you do some reading. Check out the sticky threads at the top of the forums as well as the Reference Links forum and the Tips and Tricks Knowledge Base.

Well If i kee[p it to the basic will it be successfull? As i said im looking for something easy at first

I started my auto grow with BB Cheese automatic, real vigorous plants, check out vitruvius' grow journal, but being new to autos I spent a long long time reading absorbing and making sure I truly understood what the guys with experience were saying...it is easy to burn your girls with too strong a nutrient solution. That said Cheese auto is robust...

....I'm waffling so I'll stop, but just read read read on this forum, ask questions if you cant find anything similar that would maybe answer your question, this site is a goldmine!

G'Luck withit bro

Yes, but understand that the basics include the right soil, lighting, nutrients, temperature, humidity and most importantly, the correct pH. That's one reason I suggested you do some reading, so you have a better understanding of what's required for a successful grow.

autos can grow fine in the uk as long as you plant between may and august.

another factor is the weather as you know its very unreliable in the uk, and this year a number of growers suffered crop losses due to mould and fungus caused by the wet summer months

i wish you luck with your grow brother:peace:

thank you brother. the plan is to just have 1 nice auto in my room then when the spring time comes put 3-4 outside... just want to have one auto until then.

going for the "Automatic" by Big Buddha because apparently there "With its short height and extremely 'sea of green' structure, Big Buddha's 'Automatic' is extremely low maintenance, they really are 'throw and grow' seeds!"... just gna have a basic 120 W cfl on it 18/6 on it all the way thru with a nice soil mixture and using some type of bloom nutes when its definately started flowering.
