Official Update on mothers and project

So its been a few days since i have updated. i have began to harvest the JEMs i had in the project. The remaining two that are still up are my seed carriers. The monster Kush plant and the one i have been calling Merlin.

I also harvested a multi pot of two plants tonight. Yield i am not sure of as i am too lazy tonight to get the scales out. But i am impressed for coming out of a 6 in pot.

and now for the latest anomaly.....

Ok so i was checking through the F2's tonight and everything looked great.
then after a close inspection i noticed something different about one of them.

The first set of true leaves, have a 3 fingered fan. Not one but 3.
I have never seen this one before, usually its one THEN three never three first.

indeed i have never seen that one before either.

Im going to say it happened because there was a genetic match
something that lined up just right. The more balanced the more pure the genetics.
and this thing has matching sets.....

Im not stopping until i have an IBL JEM line that will finish 2oz dry in a 6in pot so i got to keep breaking the records, if i didnt have one there would be no fun

What is the average yield on them? Soil and Hydro? Second about how long would it take to see purple hues if the Jems were crossed with them?

ahh glad to see you found them and thank you for the compliments! Seems you have the same addiction i do with them, i cant stop staring....

Wiz (Mossy) has always said that this strain crossed with another will start to show color around F3 of hybrid. The thing to look for with the JEM as well as most of Wiz's lines are the females. They seem to carry more of the dominate traits to the offspring. There so dominate in their heritage that when used to roll a photo period to AF there known to have stupid high numbers of F1 AF plants as well.

Right now there are some on the market released by JD. there not as pure as they used to be and the purple color has been fleeting.
Wiz is about to re release them and on the first test run of seed most if not all i think showed purples. They are a fantastic plant to work with.

I will be working with the PJ also. Going to cross it to HK I hope? Was trying to catch up on your thread and I happened to hear you say something about a star pheno. Would you be willing to elaborate? My only Jem had star shaped fan leaves. I called it the star pheno until it flowered. Then I called it the black pheno. Just wondering if the plant in my 2010 pic thread was what y'all were talking about? It was the most beautiful plant I have ever seen. That is until the Black Dragon.
