Hi Guys, I have a 5 week old outdoor auto that's pistils are changing to a brown color. I gave one more shot of mild Growth nutrients last night, Is it time to change to bloom nutrients?

I'm probably not the expert on the subject given that I've been late on the nutrients with my current grow. What I can say through asking a related question is that nutes need to be added in anticpation of the flowering stage allowing for them to break down and be ready for when needed. [1/4 of recommended dose to start off with then increase according to how the plants react.]

Hope that helps.

go for it ... soon as your plants go into flower you should be feeding them bloom nutes

Hmmmm interesting, Ok cool!

Growers also start bloom nutes when vertical growth has stopped.

Maybe a stupid question but how do you know? How many days of stagnation? 3 days? 1 week?
If one tracks measurements each day, it shouldn't be difficult to tell when it stops. I prefer eyeballing.
