Hey everyone, Im a little confused about whats happening with my plants. My biggest Green Crack is in week 6 of Veg about 40 cm Tall and already showing Pistils, but thats not my biggest concern. 2 of my Double Gums are also in week 6 of veg about 10-20cm tall and showing pistils too! Ive never seen anything that small showing pistils. Im using a 600 watt HPS Lamp 18/6h but they had some dark time since I was in vacation and a friend had to do it manually so it was about 15/9h of light.

Six weeks w/ that much flower showing is about on schedule ... height doesn't matter to an auto but age does ...

My plants had pistils a little earlier than this. They might look small but in my limited experience, they can grow very quickly at this stage. Autos flower no matter the light schedule, but I really don't know how they react if you drop the light time from 18/6 to 15/9 and then back to 18/6 again

Don't worry Cat - the less light you give an auto, the less it will grow, but i've never heard of adverse effects from dropping light hours.

Some people have even used the gas light routine, which i cant remember but has wierd on off lighting times.

I'd say pick one and stick to it. Either 18/6 20/4 or on full time (24hours) for the best results.

As Chester said, it sounds about right for an autoflower! :D
