Pinkie Pie (14 week sativa X Auto F1-F8)

Hi bf80255
at first the art work is great . i like the drunken pinkie lol.
To the plants,
I am with you 5 and 11 are the best i think . They all look great but thats two of the best i think.
Whats your next step only inbreeding or do you want to work on flavor with a pink/purple photo strain and work them again to a full auto?......a pink duckfoot would be great too lol

Hey tobe! im glad everyone agrees :D looking back and forth at similar but slightly different pictures of plants kind of plays tricks on you lol

Next step is to 1.) continue inbreeding the 3 main phenotypes (Pinkie, Twilight, Green*unnamed) until they are all 100% locked down and stable (already pretty uniform) 2.) Find (auto) strains that pair well with Pinkies traits and inbreed my own populations to ensure stability and get a better idea of the new strains 3.) Make hybrids and go from there :)

once shes a strong enough IBL im going to start using the hybrids for backcrosses and stuff like that to add variation and make the strain more robust for the next phase of Pinkies development which will be my attempt at developing an heirloom autoflower variety (50+ years of open pollination, selection and inbreeding my outdoor plants)

I dont see a reason to bring in anymore photo genes to be honest, Pinkie Pie already has a very strong potency and all the other traits I look for in an auto strain so going back to photo would sort of be a waste of time for me, if I choose to develop another line of autos from different genes I will do that with a completely unrelated set of plants so I can increase the likelihood of heterosis in my crosses.

The aroma is exactly where I want it to be actually, in the Twilight pheno she starts off really gassy and strong with the menthol/alcohol fumes but then around day 50-60 she cools down a lot and starts putting off predominantly berry aromas with cheesy stank on the back end and the ever present menthol just kissing the overall profile with a more delicate and refined touch than early on.

The Main Pinkie Pie pheno tho is 100% citrus dominant all the way through and starts developing the cheesy and fruity/berry undertones as she matures past day 50.

A pink/purple ducksfoot already exists, its called Spyderweb and it was bred by cannedabyss https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=225899 . Personally I have never really had that great an interest in ducksfoot autos ( i think it looks cool just question its usefulness) and the ducksfoot photo doesnt really produce flowers that I want in my garden so unfortunately I doubt we will ever see ducksfoot Pinkies coming from me lol

Hey guys! so ive been thinking a lot lately and I want to make a more efficient system for growing big autos with minimal space wasted, one of the big setbacks is the transplanting issue and I feel like I may have finally figured out a way around it. I am also trying to find the most efficient way to grow single cola "lollipop autos" to grow in between vegging photos and a more efficient system for my tote grows.

Safety First!!!

I know burning plastic is a 1 way ticket to cancerville so I covered my mouth and nose with a baklava with a rag underneath before I got to work.

This took me quite a bit of time but I made holes in 50 recycled cups (from old grows) and found a stack of cups that they fit into so now I have planted my 24 hour soaked F6 beans that I will be selecting from into the cups and we wait :D

Hi my friend
Sounds like a good plan. If your strain is stabil enough and the flavor is what you want its very good.
Do youthink about to train them for climate cold and wet.
Its a hard work to train/breed a strain for cold wet weather but intersting for a outdoor grows.
I read a document from my grandfather he test it with cannabis and chillies but it takes around 10-15 generation and a good grow setup with temperature control.

Ps. In the script from my grandfather i found interesting projects and experience he made.

No, I am acclimating them to local outdoor conditions but the main issue we deal with in my part of the world is extreme heat during summer and bugs so those are my main priorities, Ill leave the cold weather plants to people who live in cold places. I might develop a winter auto "hash plant" variety with the green line but just for personal use.

Probably a good idea to read over his notes and learn all you can if he had that much experience, I bet you'd learn a lot.

Ok i know what you mean.
for bugs it would be intersting for you to study the different terpene profiles there are some to keep bugs away and some to hold them for pollination.
Take a look what kind of bugs are your enemies let me know and i do a bit research for you. There are so much we can learn from mother nature and use them for breeding in the right direction.

I agree!!! would love to test which terps or terp combinations make the best bug repellant but thatll have to wait till I get some more variation in my lines, atm most have very similar terps so probably wouldnt be able to tell which do better or worse based off terps. yup very true man, thats how I grow, no harsh pesticides or crazy tricks just take time to listen to my girls and give them what they need. :)

thats alot of holes @bf80255 !:funny:
lmao you dont kno the half of it bro.... I was doin that shit for hours!!! hahaha

Hi my friend
take your time its a long way to breed them bug resistant and it need much research.
Here are a couple of pics from this week :)
Day 73 on the 2 Group 1 Pinkies
Day 45 on group 2 Pinkie
and Jameson from start to finish Day 23-79
