Pinkie Pie (14 week sativa X Auto F1-F8)

@bf80255 That's pretty awesome Mag, a pity you had to give some of them away top new homes!
It's amazing how big pigs/hogs can get!
There are a lot of people who have never seen one in who never seen one in real life.
Too many people seeing film babe and thinking they are small and cute lmao

Damn dude this keeps getting better, I love growing veg, don't have the spare space to do much fruit.
If you got any good bacon cures that would be very interesting! I really like bacon cures using molasses but I'm not supposed to eat them any more due to my diabetes.
Smoking food is something I'd to try doing too!
Really nice veggy pics!!

The top pic is of 2 choice males I tested against each other, I then bred the better of the 2 to a Super Red female in an attempt to create a line of super red (game) fighters. I am now onto the F2 and once these reach adulthood I will begin making selections towards my F3 and I should be pretty close to attaining my initial goals by the F4.
002 (9).jpg

Here they are locked in a fight, both are thrashing and holding the other down as long as possible (bettas have a special organ that allows them to breathe air so YES they can drown) The blue and red fish was better than the green in regards to fighting ability and gameness

013 (9).JPG

These are the fish that were used as my P1 selections.

The fish fighting game isnt very big here in the states, a large part of that is the fact that only imports (not homebred) perform well in competition because of the way they are raised in ponds and allowed to develop hierarchy and are constantly being given the selective pressure of overall fitness by being exposed to the elements, here in the states we breed indoor mostly and the fish come out WEAK! I think I can fix this by developing a more cold tolerant line and since I like red and gameness is always important I have m 3 main goals pretty much given to me :)

Gameness too is a tricky trait to nail down like potency in cannabis or intelligence in humans so maintaining strict selection criteria is absolutely crucial to ensuring the proper development of a Game line of animals.

Goals:
-Super Red
-Game!
-Cold Tolerant

P.S the other pics are just breeding setups and the jars I use to make Almond Leaf tea for strengthing scales and conditioning my fighters.

Yeah I really love my animals but when I moved I came a lot deeper into the city and my neighbors are haters lol
YESS!!! lmao im soo glad you get that man haha people always have this image of a pig in there head then when they see what they really look like they are usually pretty shocked haha my friends and family were all pretty fascinated with the pigs lol they were like an oddity or roadside attraction.

The farm I bought my big sow from had these full grown heritage breeds that were easily 600-800 pounds.... now those things are the stuff of nightmares hahaha I could easily see one of them killing and eating a person! Pigs are brutal too man, I used to throw them dead rabbit carcasses and whole dead chickens and they just dive in, its a pretty gruesome and macabre scene to watch.

Damn dude this keeps getting better, I love growing veg, don't have the spare space to do much fruit.

Thanks Arty! I will most definitely check him out!
what types of veggies do you like to grow?

no :/ I dont really know any bacon cures unfortunately. do you have hogs and such?

No, I dont breed veggies personally because I dont have the space. For me to even be close to the level of most vegetable seed producers I would need at least a few acres to work with and that just isnt happening at the moment lol
I maintain a couple of cultivars from year to year but thats just to save a few bucks on seed lol

same method of selections on my veggies though ;)

@arty zan lmao yeah I really could do a whole thread on animals, last year I was raising chickens, rabbits, dogs, hawks, mice, quails, guppies, bettas, white homing pigeons and a couple of hogs
View attachment 666545 View attachment 666549 View attachment 666550 View attachment 666552 I taught this pig to jump up on command hahaha it got pretty terrifying once she got over 3 feet at the shoulder and 300+ pounds!!

I got rid of the rabbits because I needed to focus on school and my other obligations, moved houses so I lost my homers, gave the chickens to my aunt, and now all I have are fish, dogs and hawks.
