I do think that new growers should be taught the difference regardless to my shortcomings.

When a scrog goes very wrong(or right depending on point of view!!) You sure there is a screen in there? LOL (not an entry in this contest)

Well, I'm not going to do any proper real scrog that's for sure. Not now anyway. too many basic things I need to master a bit before I move on. I do like the grow thru grids for my level of growing though. I do put my plants on the horizontal around day 25 by anchoring down the main steam with one tie, and then bending the main stem over with a tie down near the top of the stem. Like most people do. That doesn't really come close to a real SCROG. But from there I can get a level canopy and I also can open up the plant pretty good with the grow though grid in place. I'm hoping this method works out great over this next grow.

Jumping in at the 11th hour with my current grow of Big Devil XL. She just turned 77 today, but still has a little ways to go. :smoking:

That's a big trunk of a stem for a solo cup grow. Nice looking plant overall too.
