Spotted this on a 4 Assed Monkey flower. She's otherwise healthy with swelling buds all over. Thoughts?

Hybrid. Sunshine #4. AutoCOBs for lights.
Have u checked ur run off I've had high ppm/salt build up and it started of looking very similar. Otherwise I would suspect mag but let's see wat the man thinks before I put my foot in my mouth lol @Waira wats ur thoughts bud?

I don't normally water to runoff so I did a flush 2 days ago thinking that it might be buildup of nutes.

:toke:- leaves on top look light and/or VPD stressed,... what's the distance to lights, schedule? See how they are edge rolling, margin teeth yellowing... the overt damage looks like bleaching and necrosis... Other things could be in play, exacerbating this or tipping off what's borderline like a micronute defc.....
....get me all feed info, brand, dosage, frequency, pH/ppms....

I feed:
Megacrop @3g/gal
Sweet candy@1g/gal
Greenleaf Nutrients CalMag @2g/gal
Bud Explosion 1g/gal
Recharge 1tsp/gal (1xweekly)
Mammoth P 0.6ml/gal (1xweekly)
Ph 6.3

I run COBs 20/4 schedule. I recently added lenses to increase intensity. VPD is something I pay attention to, but during flowering I let humidity go lower than my temp dictates. Currently 55%rh/75°(air temp).

I flushed a couple of days ago when this pic was taken and have removed the reflectors on the lights near this gal.

I also grow half my plants in Sunshine4.
Its a medium that gets very acidic over time and requires close monitoring.
Have you been regular with your 6.3 PH?
What was your last run off ph like? (I know, its a guestimate right)....
Have you radjusted your MC to SC ration going into flower?

Yes, pretty regular with 6.3ph. Sometimes a bit lower, but never more than a couple of points. Always felt a little variation in ph helped plant uptake different nutrients better.

I don't test runoff because i dont water to runoff. Last couple of grows, I've started giving occasional feeds of microbes only (recharge, mammoth p), thinking that would help make any nutrients remaining in the soil available for uptake and assist in preventing buildup.

I haven't adjusted my mc to sc ratio other than changing the amount of mc in the mix.

A final thought, with regard to feeding amounts... Although i measure to the amounts listed, i frequently add more plain water to my feed to help me prevent over doing it.

When I first got my promo bag of MC.
Naturaly I had a look at the GL site for feed recommendations.
Once made to their reciepe it turned out to be a 1200ppm mix (which would kill my seedlings).

So after doing a shitload of reading and consulting our resident Mega Crop gurus (@Dabber & @pop22 ).
I've since reduced my concentration to about 500ppm (100ppm of Sweet Candy, and topped to 500 with MC).

After consulting GreenLeaf of the composition of the balls in the the mix.
I didn't like their answer.

So I've since ground down the myriad of little balls in my bag of MC, mixed with the rest of the powder and now have all powder.
This produces a much more uniform mix, EVERY TIME.

When mixing for large scale feeds, a little off the scale isn't the end of the world,..but for seedlings. It counts a little more.

No more calcium def's,...no more magnesium def'c...

Lifes great if you don't weaken. :vibe:
