Indoor PH run off.

I could be wrong, I don't think organic folks flush their medium. Especially before a seed goes in.

Idk. Maybe you are aware of something I'm not. Pretty sure you don't need nutes. Are you using distilled or RO water?

I was actually trying to make a hybrid mix of Coco-coir and soil but I think I am just going to make it easier for myself and use a light mix soil with perlite. DinaFem actually advise to use 1/3 of coco-coir with soil to help aid in healthy roots.

I was more curious why you would be adding nutes right out of the gate. I use soiless and don't usually start nutes until day ten. There are enough nutrients in the seed to get her there.
Even if you are cutting your soil, I would think it is plenty of food for possibly 2 weeks. Not positive...
Don't take what I am saying as an absolute. I am still learning too.
I would recommend reading into it a little more. Or, ask more questions from growers with more experience and knowledge.
Is that what you have been doing? I would be interested to see how they take it.

I am an absolute noob to coco-coir and I thought you had to add nutes when using this medium as it is inert and has no nutrient value what so ever. Thanks for reminding me, I did know about the first 14 days a seedling will generate food from it's seedling leaves but I completely forgot about this. Good call.
