pH Question

I agree with @MIAutomatic but would also add that getting QUALITY meters means a world of difference. Growing involves a lot of accuracy to create and maintain consistency, cheap meters can ruin a grow. I can suggest several brands but imo, if the meter is sub $30 and comes from a random vendor in China - I'll pass

Yeah I’ve been looking into getting the Apera pH20. I’ve heard it’s pretty good & a few content makers on YouTube I follow mentions it quite often. The one I have I got before I knew how important it is to have a quality pH reader. I’m still learning & this is my first grow, so mistakes are bound to happen. That’s the beauty of the process. Thanks for the advice!

Apera, Hannah, and HM digital are three favorite choices. For my personal grows HM is affordable for an ec/pH meter but sometimes you can find used Apera on Amazon for a great deal.

I'm off the opinion every tool you use in the garden, especially for indoors, is very important. It also speaks to how expensive this hobby really is without even delving into hydroponics or irrigation systems.

When you can help it, don't be cheap as it can be the thing that sets you back months or the measuring device that is always incorrect keeping you from consistent results.

I like the apera a lot it stores better. The cheap one that you cannot replace the tip. You need calibration fluid and storage solution. If you have a container with calibration fluid you can test if the Meyer is reading correctly by just dipping in the 7.
PPM is need if you are running nutes. It is easier to mix with the Meter in the water and bring it to where you want.

Apera ph meter is a good meter and good price too
Which one do you use? I see a few by Apera so thought I’d confirm which specific one you’ve been using.

I should’ve read more before I asked lol. I’ll try the Apera ph20 also.

I think I have the apera ph60 but honestly bought it and haven’t used it lol

pH60 has the replaceable tip. Highly recommend. Plenty quick and accurate but keep an eye on it because I've noticed the price changes constantly. Should be able to get it for $60-70. I've replaced my tip once

And I think you can buy a soil probe tip too not sure about that one
