Feel sorry for you people in the US getting your seed confiscated.
So far nothing taken by the Canadian Feds from my orders thankfully.

Oh I've had Canadian beans go missing too! They all enter a port of entry, it's just CA isn't a hotspot for activity....Except for smoking pot! Don't dare tell the border control you smoke, they will turn your arse around! Plenty of horror stories to go around. These overseas banks could care less if the package got snatched or not. Not all are bad but many are just bulk seed depot.

The easiest way to find U.S banks is to find a U.S breeder. Go to their site and click on resellers, there will be some odd ball banks that come up...But they are legit, most are, esp if the breeder is worth a shite!

I wonder what if you said hemp is legal and the seeds have 0 thc? What law says we can't have cannabis seeds? Wish we could all join and sue them.

Oh man, don't kid yer self! This is all illegal as hell! Doesn't matter if there isn't any Cannaboids in the seed or not. The intent is still there...Can't remember which site but at the bottom the guy wrote something to that effect. Just letting ppl know I suppose...
It's like some countries will allow you to grow canna but not consume it. OR sell seeds but you can't do anything with them. Doesn't make since really....The fact is most ppl here are small time and don't attract much attention but something a breeder said to me the other day.....Can't quite remember exactly, but basically he said get it while the gettin is good cuz this won't last forever.
I believe that, I've always thought that we are on borrowed time as far as being able to purchase seeds as freely as we do. Just wait till the Fed/Corps get their hands in it. These banks are going to fall like dominos but I hope I'm wrong, just seen it all before...

Just an FYI but I got my envelope from pevgrow this afternoon......just the envelope. It did have a notice from the USDA notifying me that the contents had been intercepted. Not terribly concerned as I've heard many times that there has never been a follow-up on seeds (was only a very few) but it still is a little nerve racking.
There was nothing on the package that would lead anyone to have any idea what it contained.

Darn I guess Im lucky mine hit ICS in NYC and left after a day recently.
But are you in a legal state and was it removed at state border or customs?
Ive heard people in CA have seeds removed because of stupid strict state agricultural import laws.
BTW did you ship it with paid shipping? Contact Pevgrow, maybe they can try sending it in regular mail or vice versa to try if it's a small order "(which i always recommend).

The dept of agriculture got it at the Port and no I'm not in a legal state. The reason started on the letter was an "agricultural" violation but I can't remember the specifics but the order was missing a certificate of some sort

It doesn't matter which state or country you live in. Buying seeds in the states is illegal, period. Still a C1 on Fed Lvl.

The level of THC doesn't matter, it's the genetics of the seed and potential if you will. So yeah illegal on Fed level. I don't have the sources on the top of my head but it's easy enough to find. Just don't want to give ppl the wrong info and let them know as a PSA, I suppose. There is a bank that has it written at the bottom of the page, "Don't ask of course it's illegal as hell"...I'm paraphrasing but u get the idea, when most put souvenir or something like that, lol I wish I could find it.

The seed banks are next and I can give sources for that. Big AG and government will not allow the widespread competition....Not when they want complete control, no room for banks. I've heard this from three different breeders, I can only point to one source, I forgot the other two and haven't bothered to follow up on it.
Now there's not much they can do for overseas, just have to do the customs dance.
