You know when your just sat there doing nothing in particular just unwinding, then........Bam a stoner idea comes to me.
What if I'm not around when the male pops, most of the pollen will be blown away and lost or just fall to the floor, so I came up with this idea of putting a collar or two on him, like the ones a dog wears after a visit to the vet.
I've got him indoors now in front of a south facing window in a quiet part of the house (he laughs under his breath, 3 dogs, 3 kids under 9, 1 mental cat and a hoover crazy Mrs, there is no quietness in our house)
Not sure if it will do any good but it seemed like a good idea at the time....comments please even the sarcastic ones :smoking:

Lots! All the plants i ran were in 20 oz. styro cups and threw about 100 seeds each or more!! :hump: Careful, Mossy told me breeding is more addictive than growing! Lots of truth in that statement! Plants are looking great peteey! Keep rockin them gals and guy! Is he showing any color on hit sacks yet?

Thanks for the heads up, I've already started to get the breeding bug the more I read about it.
The very lower two sacs are going slightly darker than the rest but not that much. Now he's indoors I feel a bit more less paranoid that he would accidently cover all of the girls.
I went into the tunnel just after dark to bring him in and the smell in there is awesome, there's the underlying weedy growing smell but with a strong undertone of mint, I even went and looked round the garden to see if my mint had spread from the pots on the patio, but no it's definitely coming from the Dragons

Excellent thread peety, im so glad i found it (been looking since you told me last night) Nice you are keeping a male. I will be growing my first males out when my family and i make the move to colorado soon.

@Mossy beautiful ibl plants of yours. How fast do they finish on average

Edit: male flowers lol I meant how fast do male flowers finish and ready for collection

i got 19 seeds from a popcorn bud on the Dragon's Blood! 50 was common with an average bud.

i got 1100 seeds from three small females!

Well Aunty Mossy I shall not disappoint, consider my duty on going. I shall make seed of the Stone Dragons for sure.
Quick question, if I was to pollinate the bottom 4 branches roughly how much seed would I be looking at? I know it would depend on things like plant and branch size but just a general ball park figure will do

Nicely done!

Dude that's not a stoner idea, that's a genius idea!!! Stoned Genius!

My dragons have that root protruding so I covered it with more coco, hope its not a penis!!! lol or I hope it is so I can put your ingenius idea to work!

Well done!

Day 35 or 5 weeks however you want to look at it. All is well within the polytunnel. The girls are progressing well with hardly any input from me except for the occasional boring conversation. As mentioned before the first lot of pollen has been collected and I'm just waiting for some more balls to pop.
I must say these Dragons are a pleasure to watch grow, like I said I've hardly done anything except give them water with light feeds.
Here's some pics
