Pests,possibly mites eating away at leaves

Okay guys,so I've a problem with leaves and I need an opinion urgently if possible,I don't have photos right now unfortunately but alas I'll explain,I've 3 automazars on day 80 in 17 litre pots and its just started to flower,literally just start of the bud development and the last few weeks one of the plants looks like it has been eaten away at by mites,the small leaves near the top bud are crinkled like it's withering and have that reddish,brown/blackish damaged look with holes in them(I don't believe for a second that it's nute burn as none of the big leaves have burnt tips at all and some of the big ones are being eaten too with maybe some holes in them as well as being eaten away at from the sides inwards on all plants also some lower leaves are not growing that fast i think and a couple of the smaller lower ones have died on 1 or 2 plants from over watering or spraying nutes too near them as it said don't spray near foliage,the bottom of the stems look a little paler too on 1 or 2 plants and a couple of drooping yellow leaves on 1 or 2 plants,I'm feeding about 600ml of water per plant every 2 days outdoors )and the top bud on the first plant I mentioned is a little damaged with maybe a blackish and maybe reddish tinge on one I think from it and the two small lower branches just below it at either side have buds started and the buds look a bit damaged too in the same way if I remember correctly .the same thing appears to be starting too with another plant in terms of leaves crinkling with an almost withered look and holes from pests(I have found several spiders on all 3 plants,I'm considering getting cannacure from canna (would this be good?) tomorrow for the leaves but worry I'll spray the buds as theyre so near the leaves on top,would putting a tissue around them while spraying help protect them? I've seen another thread here mention dousing the plant with a lemon juice/water solution or something similar afterwards for mites,any help would be great,thanks.

Sorry to state the obvious - and you know what is going to be said - it's REALLY hard to help without pics.

With spider mites you will be able to see them ,there webbing,they are small but not invisible,they live on the undersidesof the leaves and that's where they do the majority of there damage will be and the best place to spray

...sorry mate, I need pics, it's that simple,... spiders are not an issue in any case.... found no caterpillars, or sign of them in the form of little granular turds on leaf tops?
