I have had 3 grows in pro mix under my belt, and I want to switch to hydro. My first grows with it were great, but my last 2 have been sub par. I don't know if it's the nature of the pro mix or what? But I want to try something different, I also want to grow in a perpetual style. My plan is to start the seedlings in a rockwool cube in a nano dome for their first week above ground, then move them to my veg tent which is 2'x4'x5'. Have them veg in there for 3 weeks, and have them in a top feed/dwc style system with hydroton clay pebbles. After they have vegged in there for 3 more weeks, I want to move them to my 4'x4'x6' flower tent. It currently has a 600w hps, and I want to put the flowering plants in a modular bucket system(grow flow). I have everything I need, I am just waiting for a few more things in the mail. My question is, after it's vegged how do I transplant the plant from the net pots in the dwc system to the bucket system? The bucket system won't have net pots, just a 2 gallon grow bucket with hydroton clay pebbles. Won't the roots be all through the net pots? Do I cut away the net pots from around the rockwool cube? Thanks for the help, and any recommendations, or advice is greatly welcome!

Then start a Hi-brix grow. You won't look back. IMHO hi brix blows hydro away.

hey buddy i dont quite understand your setup. sounds like a lit to be taking on for someone whos never done hydro though. dont wanna go chopping net pot off the roots etc though, can you not alter your second system to make life easier?
