Peppers

Always heard if you plant a pepper too close to a another veg it could turn that veg plants produce hot.
I never had it happen in my raised beds. I did have some separation of veg types using companion plants in between.

as long as you grow them from seed or quarantine and decontaminate.... (from seed is better)

I grew Habanero and Jalapeno plants side by side this year. In the past Jalapenos from the local green houses have been hit or miss on heat, and I can't say they are anything to write home about, ever.

This year they were smoking hot! Coincidence? Bro Science? Who knows, but they were delicious!

You can absolutely grow Peppers in your garden beside your other plants.

Yes!

I currently have Corno di Toro 'Carmen' and Shishito pepper plants churning out fruit in my tent along with my weed on an 18/6 cycle. In fact, I started growing non-weed in tents before starting on pot. I don't notice any adverse consequences of combining both in the same tent. I will say that if the plants are crowded, the weed will win any turf wars -- the pepper plants do not enjoy getting a sticky coating of resin on their leaves!

My seeds too a long time to germinate, almost 3 weeks. Don't be surprised if they don't pop up in a few days.

They like a loamy well draining soil, overwatering will make them bitter. I mix coffee grounds in mine for nitrogen.

When you get blooms, tap the branches to get the pollen to fall, you are the bee.
