Hi all I have been smoking and growing for 10 years now, but I have recently moved house and growing outdoors is no longer a option. I have been reading the forums as you do and came across these stealth micro grows and I thought I would give it a crack. So follow along with me as I make my way through the highs and lows of a new grow method.

I have a few different strains. If anyone has some advice on what ones I should use first or how many I should grow at one time I am always interested in your option.

I started with a Mid Tower.

Took the PSU pulled it apart added some foam walls and fly wire mesh to hold in the activated carbon, I

Stripped out the case, coat of primer and then a few coats of white. Made the case totally airtight so the only exit point in through the carbon filter. Installed two fans to give positive inside pressure to force through the carbon filter, I also left the PSU fan in to give a little help to the carbon filter.

Then I made some light traps for the two fans, coating the back with black to reduce the reflected light getting to the fan openings.

I was going to do a Bubbleponics system and I have all the parts for it, but I have decided to go with soil growing medium just for the stealth, air pump going all day is going to be to loud in the place I am in at the moment and I really need this to be MAX STEALTH.

Here is the box as it stands at the moment, just waiting for some parts for the lights and as soon as they come I'll be ready to germinate.

Hey man.Welcome to afn, and Im glad you decided to share your project with us.:welcome: Thats one good looking PC grow box. Very clean set-up.
Im wondering about the CFL's though. Are you going to doing a mixed spectrum, all blues, all reds, or startng off with blue's,and ending with reds? The reason I ask, is because I used to do CFL's. From what I gathered. A mix of mostly blues, and a little bit red for veg. With mostly reds and a little bit blues during flower.

Blues are 6500k
Reds are 2700k.
Not saying you dont know. Im just saying just in case.

Oh, and I was wondering what actual watt bulb/s are you going with?

Anywho, Im interested to see your results. Its a realy nice build.
:pass:

Thanks for checking out my post Neko. As for the lights I have 3 Cool Daylight 24w and 3 Warm white 24w. Thought I would run 4 at a time three and one and then rotate other three and one.

So some parts came today for the lights, decided to go with the power board option instead of building my own light set up.

Thanks @tobe So the power board would only fit 3 24w CFLs so I am going to try and find some smaller ones to go between just to max out the lumens.

So did a test run this afternoon and temps were getting up to 36.6c so I think I will need another fan to get some more cool air into the box.

Hey Devlon! Sounds like you got a solid game plan. Hope you get your temps situated. When I was running with CFL's. It was a constant temperature battle. Except during the winter ofc.
