and no spots dude just pale green and yellowing, some curling under and going a crisp brown

just read that thread, interesting my lr2s showed sex at day 11 and preflowered at 14 and thens when i started the bloom nutes, i got a yield of 417g dry from 10 in 8 weeks 2 days using the same nutes etc as i am now, do you reckon i should use the bloom and grow together when flowering or not? Also do you maybe think that the pale and yellowing in week 3 was down to not enuff nutes maybe?thanks for that thread dude and for ya time:smokebuds:

The yellowing at 3 weeks could have been a lack of N or it could have been a pH issue where the pH was off and it was preventing the plant from taking up the N properly. What I think you're seeing now is end of life die off. Given that you switch your nutes at 2 weeks you effectively cut 2-3 weeks off your veg time, so they bloomed earlier and will finish earlier. A picture would help confirm this, but I believe that's what is happening. Next grow veg your plants longer and I think you'll see a big difference in your yields.

Autos seem to like a little extra nitrogen during flowering, so mixing in some grow nutrients during flowering isn't a bad thing. I add a little to mine about a 1 part grow to 4 part bloom ratio.

Thanks muddy, usefull advice. maybe next time around ill give a bit more feed to give more N, cant see it being ph as is always spot on, although i never ph'd my first lr 2s as i was told not too being that all concerned is organic and it buffers itself in soil,i used the canna organic ph down this time round when a little high with nutes mix. next grow i want to use coco so im goin to invest in a ph/ec meter to test feed before, should make it bulletproof in them areas if im correct? Sorry to drive you mad dude much appreciated, gonna get a new camera tommorow after work and post some pics for ya.

A good pH meter is a must have for any grow. Should anything go wrong, that's the first thing to check. Even with organics the pH can be off. Depending on your water pH even organic nutrients can lower the pH beyond what is good for the plant.
