:tiphat:Howdy folks this will be the thread for my initial foray into the wonderful world of cannabis growing. Please keep in mind I have never grown hydroponically nor have I ever even witnessed a flowering pakalolo plant before so I am bound to make some real bone head mistakes (spoiler, I already have). I probably will starve my plants (done), maybe not plant a seed into the rockwool deep enough (oops), or cause severe nute burn (do not look if you are squeamish). Still, I think there is a small chance I might just pull this grow off...especially with a little help from my friends"astros Wink wink..""astros Wink wink.."I'm not going to bore you with technical data tonight partially cause I haven't completed my grow area and I prefer visual aids, partially cause it's the girls first night out so without further ado:

Meet Kiana, she's hails from the South of Spain*, Heavy Weight seeds more accurately. She's the tallest of the lot. She is a sultry Strawberry Cheesecake photo.

Next is Lelani, Kiana's sister. She's not as tall as her sis, but Lelani has some definite girth.

Hina is a Candy Kush who started out puny and yellow. My fault, I didn't feed her enough. She has really bounced back, she eats like a pig now to the tune of 1100ppm, I dialed it back because I saw some nute burn at the tips.

Finally, there is Micah, I really did a disservice to Micah and really burned her. Fortunately since I am using the individual buckets as reservoirs, I was able to adjust her nutes. I will explain the episode and my take away in the next installment.
IMG_1042.jpgshe's bouncing back though!
Thanks for viewing and as you can tell, I WILL TAKE ALL OF THE ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE ME...please:help:
*Yeah uh I really don't know if Heavy Weight seeds is located in the South of Spain. Spain yes South I am clueless.

Good luck paddler going to follow along if you dont mind. Have to warn you i know nothing about hydro, come to think about it i know nothing in general lol

Sanguine I am stoked to have you aboard, just be prepared for the carnage as I attempt the grossly improbable. A noob, homemade dwc, growing photos and autos. It should be fun. Please make yourself at home. If I knew what you know I wouldn't have needlessly tortured my girls and there'd be a lot more folks subbing to this thread cause you got skills!

Sounds like a fun project bro. No better way to learn than just jumping into it, you planing on running the autos 12/12 too come flowering time? Im still a noob too just got some great advice. My candy kush took a lot of abuse and still turned out half decent so dont worry too much about the nute burn.

Check out some journals in the hydro section some great growers to pick up tips from over there :Sharing One:

You are spot on bro, the referece section is dope too. I have two tents, 1 for photos and 1 for autos so I'm gonna run the autos 24/7. Nice to hear about the candy kush being tough. I can't wait to smoke my own home grown meds. I'm thinking about dropping two more photos and another auto. Perhaps I will try my hand at a soil grow as well. Dwc is relativy easy to put together. Imho it's the feeding that really makes the difference. The candy kush that got really nute burned was actually at 200 ppm less tds than the auto that just started to take off. The genetics is the issue imho, so many new strains and hybrids is bound to cause a greater degree of variability.
Yeah I know this via what i have read and this limited exposur
