Lighting OXOSSI RIDES FOURTH - Flash Speedy Ganga & RQ Blue matic

well it was the first time I had seen white tips on my plants and I had my lights a bit lower than they should have been and thought it might be that. I have also been fretting that they were a bit short I dont think this was helped by the very dense growth of the plant which I have put down to using B52 & Voodoo juice but the trouble is you are never quite sure as each plant type is different .But overall they are looking very good and with them starting to gain height I feel much happier.I have also put No2 fully and No1 partially in Bendz for a spot of LST and to let the light penetrate it worked very effectively with my Hijack and I am hoping that it will be just as effective this time. No2 is now 11.5", No1 is 11" so still growing well
Yh i agree i havent seen it much on my last grows thats why i thought i did something wrong but the turned green see how they go in a few days i suppose:thumbs:

First problem

I have just checked my plants and noticed on the lowest leaves of No2 plant there are yellow spots and holes on the leaves, I have been giving the plants regular doses of pro-cal which should have dealt with any cal-mag deficiencies so does anyone have any other suggestions as to the cause, or the reason for my holes, I have include front and back views of the leaves for your delectation IMG_0053.jpgIMG_0052.jpgIMG_0051.jpg

sorry if they are not very clear butother than that everything else and the other plants are fine

Thanks, yes that was my initial thought too, I will wait till the lights come back on and check for any tiny bugs or other evidence with my jewellers glass,

Day 30

just a quick shot to show you how things are looking, We are now up to 13", the Bluematic (top left hand plant) looks like its going to be a biggie its just so fat and squat at 3 weeks

I checked the leaves that were damaged but could find no evidence of any actual bugs , but I will keep checking, (doesnt a leaf look a totally different thing under a jewellers glass!!!!!!!!!!)

Beautiful mate, nice chunky leaves, be careful what they are hiding

Day 32

Just another group photo, I have inspected them all thoroughly and not a single yellow leaf to be seen, which for me is a major step forward, all 3 Speedy Gs have now been Bendzed and the Bluematic is starting to rise majestically apparently it grows in one large cola so I wait with anticipation

sorry for the long delay, but enjoying myself has taken over lately. I cut down the smallest of the Speedy Gs which weighed in at 246g wet weight on tuesday The pictures are as follows , the two other Speedy Gs the first about 26" tall and the second one just under 24", there is the smaller RQBluematic and the another bluematic and a Sugar m\ngo Ryder which were planted about 2 weeks ago.
All in all I am very pleased, last year without the grownorthern lights I was getting about an ounce or so, per plant now I am getting about twice as much (246g wet = 40-50g dry? and that Speedy G was quite a bit smaller than the remaining two) I now have 3 Flash Santa to get started

DANGER Will Robinson! Just was looking at your last set of
Pics... Things are looking great! Just a word of
Caution though. Bugs are attracted to yellow! They LOVE LOVE LOVE yellow plant matter. One of the most important and biggest preventer of bugs, is to keep
EVERYTHING clean... Including dropped debris in the pots... I've also seen some of my plants have those odd funky holes but could never find the culprit. I know a lot of times the leaves near the soil get damaged from nutes splashing on them etc... I know they say not to cut autos, but I like to defoliate any leaves that are touching the soil... Hope that helps a little bit... Clean up those yellow leaves brother! :slap: for a double the amount harvest over last year! You have gotta be proud of yourself!
