Hello all, tried to sort this problem on other forums recently but just had either no responses or just poor advice, so please help! Had this problem with a couple of these seedlings, but this one is worse. I'm awaiting an answer on another thread but understandably the person who's thread it is doesn't spend his (or her) life on this site and I'm panicking so need some answers! I think it's overwatering but I'm unsure. I only have been watering in a small circle around the plant, and it happened after I watered them with around 100ml of water each, around 5 or 6 days ago, and hasn't showed any signs of change.

Slight yellowing on first leaves on the other seedlings, (non-serrated leaves after cotys), is this normal or does this mean I need to do, or change something? Can provide pics if needed.

Primarily need help with this sad seedling though, cheers

Not sure why it's rotated the pics, sorry!

What is your experience level? (second grow - complete noob!)
What type of hydro set-up are you running? Coco/perlite/clay pebbles, 15L Autopot. Plant in question is a Sour Orange Diesel Kush Auto.

Your Equipment:
A) Type and wattage of lights. 240W dormgrow LED, 190W Mars Hydro LED UFO
B) Distance from tops? Currently 20"
C) Reflector type? (N/A)
D) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule? Not sure, currently 22/2
E) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? Yes
F) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? Yes one oscilating tower, one clip-on under the 240W LED
G) Size of reservoir? N/A at this point

Your nutrients and water:
H) Source of water. tap water
I) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. Flora series trio, last watering was 1/8th strength FT with 1ml/L cal/mag
J) What is the ec/ppm of your unadjusted tap (or filtered) water? Not sure
K) What is the ec/ppm of your nutrient solution? Not sure
L) What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? (reservoir high and low temps) Not sure e
M) Does your ec/ppm show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? I don't do a daily PPM check
N) Does the ph fluctuate? Only within the coco range, heard a little fluctuation in this range is good as it enables different rates of different nutrient absorption
O) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you
spray? Sometimes, with plain Phd water. Usually just whenever I feel it's needed, as have heard many contrasting views on best time to foliar feed.
P) How often do you replace reservoir water/nutes? N/A

Your growroom:
Q) What size of closet, room or hut? 60x60x140cm
R) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ON: 27-31c, 40-50% RH, off 20-22c 50-60%
S) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom? No
T) Are the roots long and white, or brown and slimy? Unsure as in coco

Your strain:
U) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?) Sativa dom
V) Is this an photoperiod strain? Autoflowering
W) From seeds or clones? Seed

Hey @milkmann has it not been watered at all since that 100ml 5 or 6 days ago?
If not i would water and feed it right now.
With that mixture of medium it would take a hell of a lot of watering to overwater it.
Also you could really be doing with a ph pen. Growing in coco the ph needs to be in the 5.7-6.2 range or the plant wont be getting any nutrients at all.
That could explain the yellowing too.
Also how old is this plant mate?

Hey milkman, I don't grow in coco but just looking at the pics.. It's dry, starving to death. I grow in promix and to me, it looks too dry

Hi thanks for your reply. Yes that was the last feeding, obviously as I thought it was an overwatering issue I was keen to not make the problem worse, the reason I thought it was overwateirng was they started drooping the day after watering! Are you almost certain it's not an overwateirng issue? I plan to get a PH pen soon just havent got round to it. Plants are 14 days old tomorrow

Im pretty certain mate yea. Plants also droop from underwatering and that can make it confusing. But like @stepside said too it looks very dry. Water and give her a quarter strength feed as soon as possible.
Coco is a very forgiving media for overwatering especially with added perlite.
But its important to get those feeds to that 6.0 ph range too mate

Ok @sanguine I'll prep some feed now! Would you recommend watering in a small circle around plant or a bit more of a wide radius? And roughly how much water would you use? Hopefully she'll start to show signs of recovery overnight!

what sang and stepside said feed every time you water in coco you need a ph pen its no good feeding her if you cant get the ph right (5.7 to 5.9) in veg run about a litre through her very slowly let the coco absorb the water then leave for a day or 2 (the best way to check if your pots need watering is to lift them before you water and feel the weight then after you water you will feel the difference :pass:

and another great thing about coco give your girl a week or two to recover and the chances of overwatering are pretty much zero (take it from someone who ran 30 ltrs of water over 2 plants ha ha):pass:

Great, thanks for all your responses - got the feed ready - just about to Ph, I hope it's a case of under and not overwatering! Increased dose of nutes should aid the yellowing leaves. All mistakes I won't make next time !
