I like to keep cosy at about 80-85f .. don't judge me!
If heatmats weren't invented, i'd put animals in my tent to keep the pot and roots warm (don't judge me)

The ideal temperature to germinate seeds is 71-75°F (22-25°C) and a humidity of 65-80% is preferable. But seeds can germinate outside of that range, especially at higher temperature’s if it’s enough moisture so they don’t dry out.

Im from a country in the north, so a heating-mat would be nice. When i dont germ seeds it could warm my girls cold hands

I don't use a heat mat.
I like my pots suspended on a grill so a mat would defeat the purpose of having them on a grill.

I would use a heat mat to keep my pots warm during colder months. But I would use a mat to germ my seeds all year round.
