And those lovely Ti sticks..Also If is in a pot how do you claim a bird shit the seed..you can certainly do them in ground! I just think it’s more effort. In pots I can put them anywhere and if for some reason I gotta, I can move them. More convenient for me. You may get a larger plant if using other soil than native. And if it gets cold the roots will be better protected. I’ve done both. And both have plus and negative . It’s all about the work you put in.
