@trailanimal weekly update on og kush , acdc CBD, and honeysuckle I'm definitely in late transition growth is starting to slow a bit thankfully I'm running out of room and I'm seeing pistols poping all over I don't know if the pic shows it very well I need an actual camera one of these days. But hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have some buds to b looking at!

Thanks Waira I have been lucky to keep the bug damage to a limited amount I have lost a couple of branches from Lightning bugs Or so ive grown up calling them they burrow into your plant and lay their eggs inside and eat it from the inside out sucks! Its hard to track the damage in a plot this size honestly I try my best to groom the girls over every day looking and squashing bugs bye hand! I have been using dish soap, lavender, catnip, installed some bat houses, I use chili powder, and coffee grounds. I also use 7 dust but just on the perimeter around my cage not directly on my plants. 4 of my 12 plants are Honeysuckle 3 are very similar phenotypes that smell like sweet sugar and 1 very different (special more sativa pheno) that smell like burnt rubber which is a very narly jagged leaf structure which is very intriguing with the odd smell of burnt rubber i've never smelled on a plant before. Its honestly kida a nasty smell but I just love it.
:eek1: burrowers are the liquid shits! :cuss:... secondary infections from the exposed tissues are the next worry,.. can you get powdered Sulfur, a common garden fungicide? You can make a kick-ass "paint" out of it, using a bit of water and wetting agent... did you play with tempera paints when young? - that's the viscosity you shoot for,... apply with a small model hobby paint brush. I use this to seal any wounds, cuts, and now any fan leaves off the stalk that get yanked before they seal and fall normally... Last season, the fucking botrytis got into the main stems via this route, and it travels like fire right up the vascular system into the bud = long distance bud rot! :wall: :finger:
Interesting, to see such a wildly different pheno' show up! :eyebrows: Did I ask you what the parentage is of Honeysuckle? ... Dank' made a good note there about the burnt rubber stank, I've had this in some early auto strains made by our Mossy here, PJEM... this AoF is supposed to have a pheno' with that aroma as well- :nono: for me, hard pass! yuk....
I have some funky luck with pheno's, a few oddballs have shown for me.... Last year my Outdoor Grapefruit (Female seeds), which was a superb plant across the board, turned out to be a very rare throw-back pheno favoring strongly her parent Easy Sativa, not GF and had no grapefruit aroma ... very nice aroma still, but I was robbed of that treat! This one is worthy of a try Jc, nevermind my freak bad luck; that girl grew effortlessly, a gorgeous plant in appearance, finished in under 7 weeks, yielded the best hands down, with potent classic sativa buzz- :coffee:

:greenthumb: Plants look great man! When does bloom usually trigger at your lat'? Prime time is coming- :woohoo1:... I have about 3-4 weeks of veg' time left, should be just right for these pot sizes....

week 7+ ...Everybody got some LST done, opening things up,... I flaked on topping OJ and GB .. my friend wanted the tops, but we couldn't connect in the time window, and they are cranking along so fast that it's too late... we'll see what kind of stretch happens over the next few weeks; I'll defol' some top fans if they node stack too tightly at the top and become congested, which invites rot! ... All got a nice foliar shower today with Armory (microbial mold fighter), Ful-Power (liquid fulvic), micronutes + Si, and SNS209 systemic... the caterpillars are moving on them early this year, so it's :finger:-time!

Looking good their ! Yes I believe I did but 33% of my garden is honeysuckle which 75% of those are the normal honeysuckle and the 1 special pheno these were bag seed I got from a medical dispensary where I'm at so it's not pure honeysuckle n obviously was crossed with some kind of skunk or desil the 2 I tested with last winter the rubber smell one tasted like lemon desil real strong lemon notes the other had a real soft sweet smell n tasted like sugar cane. As u know the transition period is different outdoors but were into like 14 hrs 30 some minutes a day of sunlight n it appears my big stretch is slowing n they are showing signs of flowering. Typically flowering begins late july early August so I'm right on scedule and depending on strain I finish late September early October weather usually gets pretty crappy if I've ever tried to push it any later than the 2nd week of October I usually look for quicker strains but the acdc CBD says it's a 10 to 12 week sativa strain which 2 of them may b but my big battle plant is definitely indica dominate n I feel pretty confident they will finish in time. I've got a few trics to force em to finish quicker if I need to use em though !
