definitely My favorite comp as well!
I tried to get in it the first year I believe it was, but at that point you had to have membership for one year to enter.
I just wish that it was like last year with a auto winner and a photo winner, last years felt perfect. And IMO those should be held separate. But what can ya do? Lol
 Let's check with @trailanimal , but I think it's the same deal, auto and photo get separate voting polls for live and dry nug shots respectively,... I think last time the winners were determined by total votes on auto and total on photo, so two Grand winners in all for this Comp'-

Aunt of Farouk sounds really nice brother! Thats something I would like to work with as well!
And I hear you on the getting that soil in time haha,
I am also waiting on a compost pile to finish now, im into the no till, living soil methodology.

Im actually Alchemys half brother, im the more level headed one haha so ill take care of shipping and testers, customer service and all that jazz in the future.

 *slobber* ..oh man, who knows where the aromatic wheel of chance will land on this cross-cross!

 I see, family roped you into here, ay? ...great to hear you breed independently, and have interest in landraces... I'm afraid that's going to be more and more important in the future.... So much has been lost already in critical "mother" regions due to war, habitat loss, and all that sad crap,....

:greenthumb:Mate are these photo's? I grew one last season, an odd pheno', but very nice smoke and she's truly fast! I bet you'll finish bloom in about 6 weeks- :coffee: This pheno' had fatter fingers, squat build, and grew more open in bud structure than other C+2.0 bud I've sampled, and different aromatics,... delicious sweet cedar/pine/citrus, mild floral .. so I'll be curious to see if it shows in your two...

:d5: Welcome Mossman to AFN and the funnest Comp we have! :eyebrows: This is the 3rd year running, and it's usually quite the demolition derby.... 1st year only 4 of us finished! ...not many more last year, and this year seems fewer than usual entries? Half the fun has been seeing who gets the thrills, the spills and who slides across the finish line-
..... I like this one best because it's mellower in pace and not a bloody scrum of contestants,.... we get to see some more unusual cultivars too, and you're on that already with the Black Banana Cookies = What's the scoop on her? .... Alchemy is running some custom stuff too as you see... ....Trail is running some of our in-house Indie' breeder Binary Genetics,.... I have this really enticing 3-way African cross speed queen, Lilly, and a true Paki' landrace called Aunt of Farouk -:woohoo1:
.... In fact @trailanimal , I'll hatch beans tomorrow! :woohoo: -- now I just have to make sure the gellies at the horti'-store get my Empire Builder soil in by transplant time.... :eek1:
always a catch, always something to wait on!

Sorrry I did Not get to take any pictures, but I definitly.got that Blueberry auto fixed up! I went looking around what used to be a nursery, I found a OLD compost pile, dug straight in the middle of it and ground beneth was awesome dirt, as I tilled I mixed in some.of.the old.compost little at a time, it looks superb now! If the genetics are all there with that Blueberry auto she should be a pure beast.
Also for the Bad dawg, I found a OLD pile of chopped wood, like fire wood or apple wood for smoking meat, the ants had went to town on it for many years and big chuncks was completely composted, I moved those chunks out, got covered and bit by ants, but that ground was the best after. Hopfully its a female!
:greenthumb:

Got gifted something pretty nice im going to enter one ive decided, since it needs to be ran for a future cross anyway, and outdoor is always a proper test.
So Black Banana Cookies S1, will be my final entry.
Starting seed this late in the season hopefully she dont get overly huge.

We need to check this out. For some reason I thought the polling would be all inclusive. After all, live cola and dried bud pics, who gonna know auto or photo. I seem to remember @Mossy discussing this. If anyone feels this gives one group a leg up over the other please speak up.

:smoking: agreed! Hence the separation of auto and photo winners,... Skelly was running this last time, but I'm pretty sure we decided that having 4 winners, one for each poll was silly? That's the reason for the combined votes in both live and dry porn for each,.... Aunty just painted the broad strokes I believe, but last year this is how it was done-
Just to review: We still get to chose 3 plants to update with until the end, then you pick the final entry plant for both live and dry for the polling....
