Mephisto Genetics Outdoor 2015 with Mephisto Genetics!

You are getting some real whoppers in the tunnels!!! What temps do you keep them at? Im assuming you have an extraction fan on a thermostat to suck out or force air in when it gets too warm? Do you think the decreased light intensity inside there will result in less bud density? It would be interesting to grow some until flowering kicks in, in the tunnel and them move them outside to direct sunlight and compare the differences in bud structure that results.

Hey treeman,
There's a fan controller with a temp probe that sits at canopy level in one tunnel, when temps go above 26 the extraction works at full speed, 26 or below I believe it switches power down to 30%.
Where they are positioned they get direct light for 9 or 10 hours at the moment.
The light intensity they get is also pretty good, I can't be more specific, but growing well so far, time will tell.
Cheers!

Everything we wanted to pollinate has now been pollinated , so just playing the waiting game now :)
There will be some new limited editions available for testing soon.
But the ones being made now it will late summer :)

Looking forward to hearing about your new limited editions. Only pic I have of outdoor mephisto right now is 3 Walter beans I just put in the ground last sunday.... They were paper towel germinated and I broke the tip off one of the tap roots (they were about 1.5cm long) when planting, just a couple mm's, hoping it doesnt set her back to badly!

Hey guys, just a wee update, took a couple of snaps today and did some measuring:

Here's a close up of a 24c - These are just a couple of weeks away from harvest, complete with ripe seeds :)
Average height on these girls is 85cm

2-3 weeks behind the first batch's here's a choice SODK
Maybe a wee bit of stretch /final height left on these girls but they average 125cm
Hoping to pollinate these girls next week.

Full house of SODK - This tunnel gets considerably less light than the others, maybe 2-3 hours less a day. But they're looking well. Also way more exposed to pest and disease.
Near the spot where our photo strain candidates are going to be tested for their strength and stamina :)
