Out of control Autoflower!!

Super cropping is your emergency solution.
Do you have other tall plants in the room? I am asking because green crack tends to be very antagonistic with other tall plants in the same room and tries to dominate them. I have experience with green crack ever dwarfing a six shooter. Whereas if the rest of the plants are short it grows within normal limits being 120 cm maximum, usually around 90cm.

I do have another plant in the closet but it’s tiny in comparison. In fact it’s the sister. I germinated 2 seeds at the same time but one got a bad case of root rot early on in Veg that I just couldn’t shake off. As a result, I have a giant and a stunted, underdeveloped miniature that is completely being overshadowed. Here is a pic of the stunted, sick plant.

I've grown six different Fastbuds strains and had several of them grow much taller than the breeder's description's state. I found if I didn't top them they would outgrow a 4'x 4'x 6'6" grow tent. Both Gorilla Glue, Pineapple Express did this in some plants even if topped at the 5th node when other examples didn't. I had one example of each not finish until 120 days after having to move them outside after outgrowing my tent.

For gorilla glue it is an issue since it is relatively short. Pineapple Express is relatively tall and SCROG is recommended to control it. But green crack which is a permanent feature in all my grows does have the tendency to compete with other tall plants. If you grow along a more indica like plant then it stays within limits. Topping is very good option with this particular strain and since in reality it takes around 16 weeks to harvest (9 weeks that fast buds says has never happened to me and I have grown over a 100 green crack plants) it is well suited for it. I have tried it too very successfully.
Our friend must do super cropping at this stage since he is well into flowering.

Wow 16 weeks
I knew 9 weeks was unrealistic but I was hoping 12 weeks or so...

Trust me it is worth to wait even 16 weeks. It is the best strain to smoke in the morning before going to work and during the day. 21 % thc is potent enough, but potency is not the issue. It is this supercharged flow of energy, alertness, the relaxation and clearness of the mind and the great happy feeling that it gives you. Never smoke it less than 2 hours before the time you intend to sleep.

Just popped a Gorilla Glue Auto last night. Package says 55-65 days. I'm hoping 75-80.

My Tangerine Dream Auto is amazing with frost mid flower. Dense bud already. leaves are all frosty.

Gorilla glue is fast don't worry. 9 weeks is not impossible. Tangie dream I love but it's too tall for my tent and scroging it will occupy a lot of precious space from other plants... I like to have variety so I prefer sog grows with many different strains, so I avoid big plants. Anyhow enjoy smoking it.

You see that Tangerine I posted. I LSTed the crap out of it until it went into flower. It is 18" tall. Maby.
The GG was the 1st seed I wanted but I was shipped the wrong item so it was pushed back. There are so many I want to try. I have Sour Kush question up. A 2 week old Tangerine, the GG I just popped. And am finishing 2 Creams and one Critical Purple. I must have 40 on my list. I am so happy with the Tangerine that I just had to pop another.

Hey all. I have a Green Crack Auto growing in DWC currently in Week 10 and it doesn’t want to stop growing/stretching. I did some LST early on and tried to creat an even canopy. Currently it is over 1.3m and I’m more or less maxed out in vertical height. In an effort to control the plant size, I switched to “early bloom” nute mix couple of weeks ago and then went to “mid-bloom” about a week ago but it still wants to keep going up. It has slowed down a touch but I’m literally running out of vertical space and wondering if anyone has any tips to make it stop growing and focus on flowering. I suspect genetics is in play here but any input would be appreciated.
Temps ~25C
RH 40-60%
No worries bud she is a big girl. I've done 2 of these both were huge. Here is my last 1 it's in a 2'x4'x5' tent.

Only in 2gal soil so in dwc she will get real big. Had 4 other girls in there so couldnt really train. Awesome day smoke like an energy drink good luck. Stay lifted!

Gotta get some Green Crack. What breeder is that?

Green crack is my favourite. Breeder is fast buds. Every grow I have at least one in the tent. I try to contain it by using maximum 7 litre pots, but it gets huge even in 3 litre pots. With LST and careful pruning the average I get from a plant is 180 grams (I have approached a few times the 300 grams limit with 11 litre pots), in 3 litre pots and SOG with a little defoliation I get around 130 grams (with bigger pots 200 grams is common). Most of the time my grows are SOG. And I always use soil and organic nutrients. As long as the roots are healthy and have space to spread, the strain is super productive. You can also top it multiple times successfully. If you use 3000k lights and lower potassium nutrients at seedling stage then the cuttings from topping are sufficiently big (stretched) to clone and they do root fast around 10 days in plain water, less with cloning hormones.
