New Grower Ordering seeds directly to home base. Total no-no, or?

I wonder - when you order, how many of y'all have your beans sent directly to your home? I'm getting ready to place my first order and I know that a lot of guides I've read mention it being a good idea not to order directly to your home (or wherever you plan to grow) for opsec reasons. and that makes sense to me, but the problem is I really don't have any other choice. I have friends, but none who wouldn't want to know what was in the package/why I couldn't just have it sent to my place, and whom I'd be comfortable knowing I was planning a grow.

On the same subject - when you order, do you spring for the "extra special guaranteed" stealth shipping option at whatever seedbank you buy from? Worth it, or waste of cash? I'm probably gonna go with autoseeds.com, so any experiences with them are especially appreciated.

I don't know where you live, but if you're in EU, buy from EU countries. There is no customs check for orders in EU.
I don't pay for extra security/special shiping, I doubt they're looking in packages. Anyway, it's legal to buy seeds for souvenirs, that's why they selling them.

I'm ultimately not *super* worried, but I am curious to hear of anyone else in the US has had issues, as I'd like to do whatever I can to avoid any potenital issues with Johnny Law over a little medicine.

Customs took mine and never heard or seen a word. If you want auto seeds order from Mephisto and avoid customs stateside. 2-3 day delivery. Otherwise I've had 90%+ of my packages sent to home base with no issues. I'm sitting at home base waiting on almost twenty beans from two separate packages probably arriving today lol. Discrete Pete says... SAFE!!! Use one of our sponsered or recommended banks of you want other things than Mephisto. The vault is my go to.

I'm in the U.S. and have had zero problems. On the other hand, I'm a coward-I spring for the stealth stuff. I think once it gets through customs, it's clear sailing.

I like that better than their approach with Cuban cigars: you get this scary looking letter informing you that if you wish to dispute their impounding your sticks, feel free to contact them. Yeah, right...

I have been getting seeds and everything else grow wise shipped to my home with no problems. My credit card numbers have been in use for a long time regarding marijuana.

Well here's the deal, I love ordering from within the us, ordering overseas the worst you'll get is the green tape and the letter of confiscation, if beans are intercepted in the US and mailed from within the US, that's when you get the chance of a knock on your door
