Every little bit helps... You have a long way to go in flower, so I believe you'll have to try something to get thrips under control. A stiff stream of water may help. However, you'll want to minimize getting flowers wet to decrease your chances of mold. Insecticidal soap is safe for use on vegetables up to the day of harvest. You could try it. It's effective on thrips. It's the safest control option available.I've just put 7 yellow thrip trap strips up hopefully be at least a little help!!!
