New Grower Opinion request

Those are way under developed at day 30 you should be at least in transition or early bloom. I don't know if those are 70 day or 60 days but no matter what you are about half way through. I have never seen that neck tie looking thing you have going on. I am guessing it is to let the light hit the lower part of the plant. The way they are so behind I would think that really hampers the plants, the tops are strangled. So basically they are 6 inches tall, personally I would have taken the above advice to start over
but if you are going to let them go it should be interesting. Here are two I have going and they are on day 30 (started week 5 yesterday. I am posting these just to show you how far behind those are. Sometimes it is ok to abandon ship even though it may make your stomach turn a bit to rip em up. Also with auto's a week is huge especially at the time frame that the problems started for you.
Edit I was looking at another thread and I see it is pony tailing pretty interesting.

Oh boy I think I need to go lie down. All of the sudden I don't feel too good. Those look to be about three times the size of my beautiful specimens.

Oh well I will say this, I am enjoying the process. The plant seems to respond almost instantly to optimum conditions. Now that I have a system that the munchkins really like now. Best thing is my well water comes right out of the tap at a consistent pH of 5.7 after I put 5ml of G.H.'s Flora grow, Flora micro, and cal mag in a gallon and then aerate it for a day it comes out with a pH of 6.2. and a ppm of 900's-1100's. Temp is at 82 at humidity within range.

I've read that when a plant is stressed or even stunted, during that time, it goes into a hibernation like state. When the condition is removed the plant pics up where it left off. Is it safe to assume that when this happens to a typical X days flower does it become an X+ days flower? Or is an auto flower an X day flower and if it doesn't happen within the X day range then it won't happen at all? I think I'll keep going with them just to see what happens.

Maybe I'll end up with beautiful miniature plants with beautiful miniature buds. Probably only smoke it when I want a miniature buzz too. Which means it should last.
I have enough room to start more right now so I may as well do that anyhow.

Well...I screwed up my first grow, though it was a soil grow, so it was a different screw up. Ended up with miniature plants, with sorta small buds, but the high was awesome!

Yup! I had a major screw-up in my first grow, which I am now getting ready to harvest. It's currently flushing and the seed was started on 03/09. As you can see, she's small. I have already taken some buds from her, so she was a little bigger, but not much. All I can say is that she may not have reached her full potential, but she's all buds! And she is delicious! Great, powerful, high. :)

Here are some amazing bud shots.

Now that you guys mention it I do recall others stating that their stunted plants seemed to be a powerful high. I'm keeping them, everyday they are getting noticeably bigger and look really healthy. But I will also start four more.

Witchy I swear those bud shots are spectacular. I shed a tear just by glancing at them before I was prepared.

Ha! They're awesome, huh? I can't help but smile when I see them! :)

Here's the story behind plants who survive extreme stress being killer buds. I, myself, learned this recently, told by someone from one of these forums. It makes total sense.

Cannabis plants produce THC pods as a defense mechanism. So, say some deer decided to munch on the plant. They start munching and probably get so high that they move from the plant, who then has a chance of survival. So now the plant will produce as much of her defense as she can as her main form of survival.

Ok, I'm stoned and you just had to be there. The guy who told me this had it down to a science and you are the first people I'm repeating the story to, but at least you get the hang of it.

And that's why stunted plants rock! I always tell people to keep them, unless they really can't afford the space (but they're so little). [emoji6]

Really, look at the size of my first grow on the right, compared to their younger sister on the left.

Well that's cool. I wonder if there is an optimal stage in their growth to stress for affect or better to stress periodically. Maybe I'll try some stressors once a week until they are done.
Thx.

I'd do more research before starting to find out what's more beneficial, one big trauma, or constant small ones delivered for a long (or small) period of time...
