Old Reviews One hitter/Bat

Hopefully everyone know's what I'm talking about, it's a small chillum type pipe the size of a cigarette, sometimes smaller as well.

Pros: portable, little to no waste, some what stealth.

Cons: Harsh to smoke, gets hot after repeated use (when using metal ones), taste is also not very good.


If anyone else has something to add please feel free

There are two sizes of one hitters, a big one and a small.
I have both
I like the small one best.

I have a dug out and a bat, the bat has a decent size bowl more of a two hitter
then there is the dug out that has a fake cigarette in there from steel.
I prefer the bat to the dug out as it is glass and easy to hide looks like your lighting a smoke...

good for conserving your herb. when they are packed too tight they are too hard to hit. i find hitting them straight up in the air instead of like a cigarette keeps the bowl from falling out.

There are wooden ones also available but there cons are that some elements indulge in smoke while smoking it.

I made a few wooden ones a while back using dowel, was a fun lil project and they worked pretty good, they hold the smell and have a bit of a different taste though, wouldn't recommend them for long term use

Its a bit out my comfort zone but if heat/harsh is con those amazed/bul-it pipe (internal cooling matrix) or skeleton pipe (outer cooling fins) may be a better option I have never tried them though

I miss my dugout and one hitter which was aluminum...dugout had inlaid turquoise and coral...gave mine away when I changed to vapes for the higher stealth factor.....i do remember mine not much use for more than a couple of tokers because of it getting very hot even though it was alum with cooling notches...great tokes though!....

Also can't beat the price, think I paid $8 at the headshop for one that looks like a large cigarette

Another use for these you may not have thought of... They make a great substitute when you can't find a roach clip. Works great if your joint is rolled to the right thickness. You can easily pass it back and forth and the extra distance between the roach and your lips keeps you from burning them.
