Hi everyone, I have a think different in an aerogarden with an air pump and stone,a parabolic reflector and a 600w hps bulb.the seedling is currently at day 12. And my ec meter has given me a reading of 0.61 last night and was 0.62 today. But I noticed one of the leaves was dropping down a bit.where as the other 3 leaves look fine should I be worried about this? Any thoughts would be much appreciated thanks!

May just be the strain watch it the next few days see if gets worse or better. Too early to do anything now. How often are u watering?

Well It is growing in an aerogarden so I don't need to water it, I can't remember exactly what type of hydroponic system an aerogardenis.but it circulates the nutrient solution around the growing medium regularly which them drops back into the resivoir. I have changed the resivoir once.about 7 days ago, the ph and ec readings are ok too.

Also I am using starter nutrients which are recommended for the first two weeks as I'm on day 12 it should be alright. However the npk for the nutrient is 2,1,2.3...could it possibly be the plant isn't getting enough nitrogen?...... My other theory is that mabye the roots aren't getting enough oxygen.because at night I have to turn the air pump off, as it is too noisy to sleep. But I read that colder water can hold more oxygen, my plant is on 18/6 so in the 6 hours of darkness when the pump is off my resovior would be at optimum temperature. but mabye that wouldn't be enough?

Hi Gus,
I saw your question over in the live help thread.
I will answer her so that I am subbed and can check on you every so often.
You said your rockwool is soaked and that is definitely a problem and could be the source of your droop.
Your solution will work just fine, just make sure you occasionally mist the exposed roots as you let your rockwool dry out.
You help this by giving the rockwool a very gently squeeze or shake to help remove the moisture. but don't go overboard.
It would help us immensely if you would post a couple of pictures.
