Hi there guys, after so long i havent been arround !!

Need some help / advice. I have some Mephisto Genetics auto seed, arround 6-7 years old, that have been storage in a closet inside a zip bag, inside their original container ( plastic cone ).

Im trying to use them, but no luck. Im already use 8 seeds, and non of them crack open, .... maybe one or 2 just open a bit and showed just a tip but did't grow/spour more then that.

I already try soak them for 24hrs, with a few drops of pre oxigen water. and nothing, also try using some sand paper on the seed, and nothing .....

I have 10 more seeds to go, and im out of ideas to try not to loose them.

Im using the paper towel inside of a tupperware and also a plastic bottle with some wet cotton in the middle and paper towel on the walls, with no luck at all.

I dont wanna give up on them ..... they are a bit old seeds .... yes ..... but do you think thats the problem ?

Is there any way to save them ?

Thank you so much for your time and help !!

Birdu2.

My go to for old seeds….a piece of 220 sandpaper rolled into a tooter(lol)…. Place your seeds inside and shake numerous times when you dump them out onto a table you’ll be able to see the shell that has been sanded off…. Then a soak into warm water with a little bit of hydrogen peroxide

Hello also look into these two products when you get the chance its a guarantee that your seeds will pop.
Got this info from Cartier crops he’s a breeder and very knowledgeable. If you get stuck on how to use these two products I’ll post a video that I watched.

Another tip to use is some white paper towels might be bleached or have dyes that aren’t food grade use blue shop towels which are food grade and don’t harm the seed or won’t kill it is it keep it slightly moist hang it at the top of your tent or warm closet let gravity do the work and the roots grow straight down and it is so easy to sow
