Photoperiod Odd coloured patches on plant with a history of problems

Those are some beautiful purple buds in your gallery Waira!

I'll start checking trichomes weekly now. That comment made me a little nervous since there should be 4-5 weeks of flowering left, I wonder if cold speeds up harvest time at the cost of yield. I'll put my faith in what the trichomes say and act accordingly. Thanks!

I went with a light feeding since many of the side buds are still green and hopefully the purple ones can still be effective in photosynthesis. If I can get new growth I'll fertilize right up to harvest. I haven't noticed a bad taste from my GoBox without flushing either but admittedly I don't have many years experience tasting different options. Good enough for this guy anyway :smokeit:

Thanks to everyone! Your replies have been very helpful!

:smoking: thank you bud, what did you look at, the recent MoB grow? Those leaves went full purple long before normal senescence and associated color changes,.....
... harvest when most all trich's are cloudy, there's always going to be a few new bits with white hairs and clear trich's, it the cloudy and amber % that's your marker... how much amber is a personal choice; note that amber is formed when THC breaks down into CBN (plant does not make this cannabinoid), which has a heavy narco-sleepy affect... I don't like more than 10-15% myself, but others do... no "right" answer there, just don't let it get too far or the prime buzz and terpenes may be lost....
it's not uncommon for upper buds to be ready before lowers, staged harvests are pretty common....
Running organics, you can harvest w/o any "flush" time, or very little,... it does help speed drying a bit to take the plant when she's on the dry side.... :pass:

Chlorophyll
Chlorophyll is quite abundant in plant cells, representing around 70% of the pigments contained in one plant. It is responsible for the green colour and essential for the plants life, since it allows them to absorb the necessary light to perform photosynthesis (a process for which plants synthesize organic matter from inorganic matter by using the energy of light, ensuring the soil food web). Chlorophyll tends to mask other plant pigments, that’s why most plants look green.

This is why I say no nutes but who really knows...

Interesting link STILLSMOKIN. My purple leaves aren't lively as a purple strain, they feel more damaged but they are still alive. The lower green sugar leaves might be keeping it going too because new green bud is forming slowly. So many variables to keep testing:chef:

Staged harvest :yoinks:
I'm going to try it on this one plant. If all those mini buds below grow an extra couple weeks or more! Even if the 2nd stage is all amber I'll have a good sleep aid on hand.

Brooklyn sunrise that went purple and crispy at the end but kept chugging along
