I have limited experience with growing but I have grown regular seeds, feminized seeds and autoflower seeds from a variety of vendors.
My experience has been that of the three, the feminized seeds seem to suffer from herming more.
The regular seeds tend to be stable, and the autoflower seeds are also very stable, maybe because the introduction of the ruderalis genes, but the feminized seeds have been more prone to herming than the other two in my experience so far.

Is this just a fluke or have other growers seen any correlation between seed types and prevalence of herming?

I just found that one of my girls is herming, 4 weeks old with lots of little buds all over it and ya about 6 sets of ball's. It is a Short Stuff #1 fem. Autoflower.
