My question is simple. I already know how to grow great meds so would Oaksterdam U be of any benefit? Has anyone here went there? Did you have a positive experience and did it help you get into the cannabis industry?

A few years ago, I had started planning on attending, but, opted out for personal reasons. Rosenthal's book is one of the text's used.

If you are going to become active in the industry it would be an excellent certification program.

I just got an email from them today about enrollment as I have been looking into going for some time now. I will be moving to California sometime in the next year or 2 and am just making sure I'm not gonna be wasting more money to go to Oaksterdam once I'm there. I might even go out for a month or 2 before I move to take the classes so I can just do my thing once I'm there

Thought you were already in Cali. Colorado also has a well recognized school. You will have to look it up.

My fiancé's father has a grow op in California already. I'm in talks with him about establishing my strains as his main line of meds but I must first get the my product out to the public so he knows it is well sought after. He has tried some of my autos and likes them (I actually changed his mind about autos) but is a photo grower and will not change. He hasn't tried my photo strains yet as they are not complete. I have thought about Colorado but have no connections there. My "father in law" said that Oaksterdam would be a waste of $ but if they are gonna teach me things he cant (he's old school but 100% legal) then imo it's worth it.
I'm just trying to get a basic idea of what they can teach me or help me with that I cant learn or do on my own.

I live about 80 miles from Oakland. If you know how to grow well and you aren't going to open a dispensary; the only thing to learn is history of activism and marijuana law. Oh there is supposed to be one of the best in cooking edibles and providing edibles for dispensaries, if that is something you want to get into. Also remember you are going to a school that is in a war zone.
