Indoor Nympho - holic

@pop22 You are a well respected grower here. I especially like your work with the auto pots. I have been wanting to try them for myself. Even though I may not have appreciated what you said, I still wouldn’t disrespect you publicly or privately.
I don’t know where my recent popularity has come from. I kinda have an idea, but that’s only speculation. However, I must assume it’s coming from the guy that I let try my bud. Also he did something that was revealed in another post that was uncalled for. But I ignored the situation and went on about my business.
When I announce that I made some crosses with my Nympho strain, it’s like things changed around here. The critics started popping up. Often with less than positive comments. Or commit that I perceive as negative because of previous conversation. Both in public and private.
They ask what’s available. I tell them what I have and what I want for it. If it’s beyond them, I leave the conversation right there. I’m thinking, “that’s it”. Wrong, now my post gets commentary suggesting incompetence. It’s the same type of response that’s in your post. Sadly I cannot see where these type of responses are coming from.
I have to assume that it’s not jealousy because you said it yourself. “You don’t see anything in my pics that you would like.
Scratching my head, I smiled and thought to myself where is all is this coming from. Out of nowhere a guy pops up and takes offense to something that didn’t pertain to him. In this situation, I’m going to listen to my wife and bless everyone. Merry Christmas. Hopefully everyone situation is positive. Hopefully we can all meet back after the new year on a different page. God Bless you all.

Merry Christmas.
Day: 67 that’s from seed drop. This lady Nympho is ready. Her sisters will be right behind her.
This quick lady is a 20” stunner. She is a beautiful, smaller end representation of the Nympho strain. After a quick trim job, you can see that her dense buds are covered in frost. Plus she is absolutely reeking, I can’t wait to taste her.
Letting her go a week longer would not have hurt her. Recently, I have been doing a lot of breeding and letting plants go beyond my preference. I miss the Nympho’s nightmarish high that come with the 100% cloudy trichs. This lady has a few ambers, 5%-10% at the most.
The Nympho is a tribute to her photo period brethren, as she shows that autos should never be thought of as lesser quality cannabis.
You will be hard pressed to find a photo that matches the Nymphos smoke. I have had some beautiful, as well as great tasting photos, but when it come the potency of the Nympho, well they just aren’t quite there yet. Fly High!

I'd have said nothing, but when you took cheap shots at Wild Bill I had to respond. he is a grower that could teach you a thing or two. And I speak plainly, I sugar coat nothing and everyone here knows it. Your responses to WB border on paranoid and if they are you should seek help.

The other thing that tripped my trigger was the comment on organics. I'm still not sure if that was a joke or that you are that seriously misinformed, or you were trying to piss off WB. It certainly made you look foolish

Your strain looks nice and I'm sure it has some potential. It would behoove you to grow it out in several styles, for your informational benefit and for other who may want to grow it

@pop22
It’s unfortunate that you feel that my shot with bill was cheap. Although i consider it not the best action, I felt it was was necessary. I do not understand why WB took it upon himself to “teach me something”. Im mean, I’m always willing to learn, but I’m well past needing a teacher to help me grow cannabis. Just like you pop, I too peak my mind and have already told wb if I need his help, I’ll ask for it.
It’s presumptuous of you and anyone else to assume that because I don’t post much, that I’m new here and that I’m new to growing.
Do you and your counterpart care to inform me as to what it is that make you believe that I need your help. In any case, I’m sure it would have gone much better If he had chosen to ask me in private, instead of using the forum to engaging in subadult behavior.
Organic plants grow very green. They are filled with n which dictates their chlorophyll production. Or over production. It’s a considerable task to lessen the amount of chlorophyll in an organic plant at the time of harvest. The chlorophyll also affects the cure as well as the smoke quality of the final product.
Therefore I choose to use coco. This way I can control my NPK ratios. Thus controlling the amount of chlorophyll that my plant makes through out the grow. No, this may not look normal to an organic grower, because of the different effects that altering npk have on the plant.
However, it does allow me to make necessary adjustments as I sometimes test it be results of different ratios. The adjustments allow me to test different outcomes, to see what “best suits my tastes”.
So Pops, even though you and wb, may not understand everything that I am doing, it is without merit that either of you assume that I’m doing something wrong. Neither should you assume that I need your teachings. It is very inconsiderate to get in public forum attempting to show the incompetence of fellow growers. Can you make me understand the need to treat a fellow grower like this?
Speaking my mind, I think that the 2 of you share a lack of respect, as a well as a lack of understanding for what fellow grower are sharing on afn.
Clearly remember when you first started posting here. I have read many of your post without uttering a single word. My history with cannabis go further back than my afn posting.
I remember when this was a new forum. It felt right here because I was already growing autoflowers. I thought afn would be a place for I see what other growers were doing with autoflowers. I saw afn as a place to learn, to share, and to grow with others just like myself.
I don’t feel my decision to hangout here was a bad move, but I do feel like some members make it unnecessarily hard for new would be members. The adolescent activity is becoming the norm as the forums take a turn as it becomes more social media.
There are many members here that remember the Lowryder craze and skepticism That came with it. Let’s step back and remember the doubt of fem seeds before they became widely available. At first fems were unbelievable, now they are the norm.
BigSm0 suffered the same fate when he first announced his autocobs. The same naysayers that voiced the negative criticism about the autocobs, are now the same ones using them in their grows. It is awful how some members of afn make it hard on the members who try make a difference as they try to bring something new to the cannabis world.
You preach support as you practice hate. More and more I see members being attacked as they try to share a different opinion. Neither I, nor any other members should have to defend themselves from the like mob mentality that exist here.
The so called “prestigious members members are ganging up on those who “they feel” are less qualified. You would think grown people were better than that. I find this notion incomprehensible because of all of the I’m better you” or the famous, “ i know more than you” mentality that’s being displayed while under the pretense of being here help new growers learn.
But, that’s not my call. I’m only “speaking my mind.”
Thank you pops and the others that have complimented me on my grow. I really appreciate it. My progressing from airy leafy bud had been a tough one. Like other i assumed it was just something autos do. Yes organics showed me differently when I decided to switch to it, from coco. Making my own soil cause bud quality change dramatically to a point that it was hard to believe it was the same plant.
I decided to switched back to coco as I tired of the low organic yields. And since then, I have learned how to use coco better. Now my plants have the structure, the bud quality and the photo presentation that I worked diligently to achieve.
Seeing my Nympho looking as good as she smoke was almost overwhelming. I’m very proud of my achievement. My 10+ years of dedication to cannabis is finally rewarding me with what I feel is the best smoke on the planet. <<< big head>>> And yes I get very offended when someone who barely have a few years experience start to criticize me or make assumptions about my techniques that are clearly beyond their understanding.
Besides, If the guy really wanted to see my plant growing organically, he would have not ignored me when I spoke to him about my strain. Secondly, after reading a strain review that he gave about another strain, I pm’ed him in an attempt to offer him a tester of mine to review. He responded with petty talk about quality when all he had to do was see for him self. His response assured me that he was not interested.
So now i am no longer interested in what he has to say, nor what he thinks that “I”should be doing with with my plants. With all of that advice, you would think he was Jorge Cervantes operating a huge grow, yet he is still perusing AFN.
Just speaking my mind.
Peace. Smoke sumt’n. Fly High! The Nympho.

Day 38 for some my Nympho crosses a they have started to bud already. It evident that the Nympho passes her rapid growth to the crosses. For comparison, the shortest plant, fb strawberry pie, is only plant in that age group that hasn’t began to bud.
Note the even height and similar structure that the different crosses show. Although they may look the same, there are 8 different crosses being displayed here. All of which, including the ones showing purple, easily show that they are part of the Nympho family. I’m working very hard to bring the Dark & Lovely “Purple Nymph” to life. More to come so stay tuned.
nympho crosses note the smaller slower growing “non-Nympho cross” third from right.

Note how similar the crosses are and how quickly they began flowering compared with the “non-nympho”.

These Second generation nympho crosses consistently flower near 21 day. They are a true testament of how the nympho passes her genetics in to her offspring. Grow babies grow! Lol. There are 4 different varieties in these 3 gallons pots. Look how they compare to the older 1 gal Nymphs in the foreground. Their similarity to the Nympho is awesome.

Barring mishaps, they should all turn out as nice as this 1gal Strawberry nugget/ Nympho cross. This lady has the purple color as well as the cake like density the strawberry nugget. The smell of oranges and strawberry, vanilla and skunk, combined with a funky, meaty, grape Now&later candy smell deep in your nostrils wrapped in a Nympho dress. With such complexity, this will be an interesting cure and hopefully the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

The Nympho shows how rewarding breeding cannabis can be for those who who willing to put the extra work into it.
Growing cannabis is very demanding and time consuming. But there is nothing like the enjoying bud that you produced by your own hard work . ...and as always, the Nympho says “FlyHigh!”

Happy New Years 2021
Day 71. The Nympho continues to shatter myths about autos. Even in less than perfect conditions, the Nympho continues to show resilience and consistency which is often criticized in auto strains. With minimum effort, inexperienced growers can produce the dankest bud.
Some will argue this is impossible with autoflowers, but I beg the differ as I prove the consistent results of the Nympho. Don’t take my word, grow one and see for yourself what the hype is all about. I guarantee the Nympho to produce a smoke never before seen in a autoflower or photo period strain.
Things are winding down for this grow. This has been a busy one filled with challenges. Such as Ph mistakes, and defoliation. Both of which definitely elongated the Nympho’s grow time. The warm weather also came with fungus gnats. Added sand and cut water in half held them back. Still this girl marched.
The nympho is absolutely drenched in trichs.

Same structure again and again. Who says that it can’t be done with autos. Think again. 3 gal, 2 gal, and 1 gal lady Nympho all showing consistent structure.

Tangerines anyone? The Nympho say, Fly High!
Which is what you will be doing for hours if you dare to indulge. Her psychedelic high will take you places never thought possible with cannabis. The effects of this lady is so intoxicating, that is it similar to an acid trip. You will soar on the wings of angle as you traverse the realms of multiverse. No longer be bound by the limits of a space and time. The future, past and present take on new mean. Just one kiss. So sweet. So unique. You will be Touched by an Angel!

Day 77 more than enough time to fully rippen. These ladies prove once again not to defoliate them. Here is the reason I choose not to defoliate.
You cannabis plant adjusts itself to its environment. That includes The lights, the nutrients and the conditions of the growing area. As your plant reaches flowering it is fully adjusted and ready to produce. If you change any of these parameters, your plant will need more time to adjust. You cannot predict the amount of time the plant will take to re adjust itself to the new environment that you created by removing what you deem as unnecessary fan leaves.
They fan leaves are not only part of you plants energy system, fan leaves also hold the plants reserves energy which allows the plant to thrive when conditions are less than perfect. Removing fans can be a critical mistake for a fast moving auto. My plants eventually slowed to a crawl because they were no longer able to keep up with its energy demands.
Do as you please in your grow. This info is from the observation of my grow.

Nympho 3 gal, 2gal, 1 gallon comparison. These ladies are all dressed up and everywhere to go. Both the 3 and 2 gal are gen 4, while 1 gal is a 5th gen. The Nympho’s consistency is beautiful. But not only is she well built, this lady also puts out.
