Ok guys, So I wanted to start a thread about what nutrients you guys use. I want everything. From the tea's you make to the warm farms you have. how much you feed them and how often. Whether your hydro, soil, soiless or organic we all need to feed our plants. For some of use. We are opened minded to trying new things. for others they don't want to break what already works and stick to there own mix's and recipe's in either case this is the place to post what we use and how we use it for a reference guide for people all over.

If this become successful I'd like to take all the information and make a guide book for the world lol. There is are a lot of books on growing but I haven't seen any that targets the what what soil mixes to use. or what organic mixes to use. or what to nutrients for they hydro system needs or how they can get away with just water to feed there plants.

So please. In detail like FD did in his thread. Describe what you do to feed your plants. whether you make an organic mix and just add water or you use a hydroponic system please let us know how you feed your garden.

Now one thing to keep in mind. Were not all professionals. Please if possible try to explain it as if your talking to someone who didn't even know you could grow a tomato. The easier you make it the easier it will be for everyone to follow.

If possible i'd like to try to get 10 recipes for each that would make for a good 50+ page read on many different ways of growing, feeding. and taking care of your garden.

a one off tsp of epson salt (per gallon) can be added 1st week of flower to reduce yellowing mg issues when the plant needs it.
Friendly fungi can be added to transplant at stage but myco fungi can reduce the need for extra feed.Feeding the myco early on (1feed after application) with molasses or a non npk seaweed extract can help it provide a habitat for the fungi also rock meal can be used as well until the first organic feed. Do not mix with chemical boosters such as pk 13/14 and biobizz boosters such as top max can ruin the taste of your bud with no yield increase

[/B]What system are you using: dwc drip+dwc aero sprinkler
Nutrients?canna aqua, 2 part growth tech, flare form 1 part slurry
how much? plants seem to respond to 1.2 ec accept growth tech where plant prefered more about 1.6-1.8 ec
how often.?NA
your method on reservoir and nutrients top off.drop refil every 10 days
Any known deficiency occurs from this mix and what do you use to combat it each time?aqua and GT have shown mg issues and 1 tps epson to res work ok
Any additional information as needed.
1 part flare green dream form is a 2part in 1 bottle in a slurry mixture when you shake mixes together which is easier if new to hydro and works better than other 1 parts. ionic boost is a worth booster and can be mixed with other brands and far cheaper than some pk 13/14

Soil less

I start with Pro Mix HP with MycoRise. This is a sphagnum peat moss based medium that contains 15% perlite, dolomite lime, and micro and macro nutrients. For seedlings I use it without any amendments except for some blood meal as I find that it doesn't contain sufficient nitogen. When I transplant to my final pots I use 3 gallons Pro Mix, 1 gallon worm castings, 1 gallon perlite, 5 tablespoons each of blood, bone meal, and Epson salts, and 8 tablespoons of kelp meal. I usually mix as needed, although I'm trying to get set up to mix ahead of time. For small batches I mix in 1/3 cut off plastic 55 gallon drum. For large batched I mix it in an electric cement mixer. When filling my 3 gallon pots I also add a tablespoon each of dry humic acid and micronized minerals, and half a teaspoon of mycorrhizal fungi. This mix will pH to right around 5.5, perfect for a soil less veg mix.

After trying both Fox Farms and Better Gro Orchid nutrients I've recently switched to the General Organics BioThrive nutrients. I have been feeding their Grow and Marine at the rate of 2 teaspoons Grow and 1 teaspoon Marine during veg. I feed with every watering. I generally feed veg nutes through week 6, then switch to flowering nutes. For flowering I feed 2 teaspoons BioThrive Bloom, 1 teaspoon Marine and 1 teaspoon Cal/Mag. For the first 1 or 2 feedings in flower I will also add 1 tablespoon per gallon of hydrated lime to raise the pH to around 5.9 for flower. At that pH calcium is not well absorbed, thus the extra cal/mag. Around week 8 I also add 1 tablespoon per gallon of unsulfured molasses. I continue this schedule through week 10, then begin flushing with plain water.

I've also tried Pro Mix BX but find it holds a little too much water under LED lights. I would also recommend HP for fluoros but if using HPS, use BX. I found that the with BX and LEDs I was watering about every 5 days. With HP, every 3-4.
