Hey everyone, I went to go feed my girls today and there is a lot of sediment at the bottom of my mix. I use GH’s 10 part series and I’ve never had this happen before. The only things I’ve changed are that I’ve started to aerate my mixes, I kept the mix upstairs (where it’s a little warmer) and I had to use organic citric acid granules because I was out of gh’s ph down. The only other thing I can think of is maybe one or more of my nutes are going bad. If anyone has any idea what’s going on and can fill me in That would be great! Here’s a pic of what I saw today, thanks in advance.

Blame the citric acid. pH down is usually sulphuric acid.

Yeah, Bob is right. GH down is phosphoric acid but you can buy a small jug of sulphuric acid from the auto store for $10. Get a jug of distilled water, pour a cup out then slowly pour a cup of battery acid back into the jug.

Voila! Ph down that you can adjust the strength of for under $15. Add more acid for more strength or make several jugs. Cyco pH is SUPER concentrated and would last you a long time should you find the money
