Hey folks! Started 2 Cream Mandarine recently! Up til now, I haven't used any nutes on any autos I've grown. My local hydroponics store gave me some Fox Farm nutes for free to try out! I'm still using Fox Farm OF soil and cfl's. My question is when do I start feeding??? I do believe I read that week 1 starts when plant gets 3rd set of true leaves and I'm there now! Any suggestions???

Hey brother when you feed autos depends on the medium!
If the soil is a light mix 1st feed is arpund 7-10 days.
Never used ocean forest but a some north american growers do- from what ive read its pretty hot.
Have you been using this soil with photoperiods so far. Seen a few growers mention this soil can be too hot for autos! I think fox farms happy frog is the auto growers preferred option.
If its still as hot as they say im sure you wont need any nutes for the first 4 weeks.
Just a case of watching the plant for symptoms of hunger then feed!

Lets see if i can tag someone whos used this stuff!
Did you use this @FullDuplex @Need4Weed @1939bear

With that soil you can hollow out a quart sized hole and plant the seedling there with some potting mix. That solves the problem of too hot soil most of the time. Like a little bathtub in the pot...

Or you could pot it in a solo cup, and put it into the soil with the bottom cut out.

I know the ocean forest is supposed to be "hot"...I do thin the mix with extra perlite to try and offset that some. I'd like to eventually try the happy frog someday. Heck, maybe next run! The real question/misunderstanding I'm trying to get figured out (and should've really been asking) is "When to start my official countdown?" Let's say an auto strain description says 55 days til finish...Does the OFFICIAL COUNT start day 1 when the seed first popped OR after the third set of true leaves
