I'm getting ready to flush tomorrow with PH'd water thinking that I have nute lock due to wrong PH (faulty cheap pen). I now have a bluelab ph and ec pen (both calibrated). I tested run-off yesterday and it came out to 6.4 (didn't get a chance to check EC, EC pen just came in today). So now I just think that she is just nute deficient because of the added light wattage from first grow. My thought is to flush just to be safe and also to come here and ask opinions.

New growth tips look burnt. No dark green leaves. Fan leaves are small (see clothespin pic for reference).

I went away for a week on holiday (Christmas) and she was watered with 2 blumat carrots (not the drip feed type) and came back and pulled off and handful of dry shriveled up leaves. The water jugs supplying the carrots did not run dry.

First grow was a success (Big Bug bag seed). No nute issues, conservatively fed FF Grow and Bloom.
This is just my second grow. The difference being I more than doubled my LED wattage (100 to 240w) and different strain (gelato clone).

My plan is to transition to an Autopot with this grow so I can travel out of town. I was just going to slip under an autopot tray and either hand top feed or feed through the reservoir. I'd like to get this issue sorted out first. Flush or not?

-Problem: Nutrient deficiency
-Medium/grow method: soil - FF Happy Frog, 3 gallon fabric pot
-Feed and supplements used: include brand Lotus grow and Cal/Mag, 2/3 dosage, hand top water feed every other watering ~ 1.75 liters to slight run off
-Water source: tap- faulty PH pen (see above). EC of tap is .1 pH of tap is 7.4
-Strain and age : Gelato clone photo (acquired approximately 2 weeks), currently approx. 8 weeks old
-Climate:
27c at 45% RH, 27x27" tent, CO2 hanging pad
- Light used: 240w LED, 18/6, 20" from tops
-Additional info: started appearing a couple of weeks after transplant from clone plastic pot to 3 gallon fabric pot (mid-December), growth has been good though with new shoots

Thanks so much in advance and I'm lucky to have found this great resource full of helpful and kind people

Whew - just finished flushing. I'm glad I did.

Runoff PH stayed around 6.2 but EC runoff spiked to as high as 4.8.
I got it down to .8 and then stopped any further flushing.

She's back in the tent now under 80% light, I'll let her dry out for a couple of days while she's in the autopot, (reservoir not turned on). When she's dry, I'll hand top water a bit then turn on the reservoir. Fingers crossed.

Hi There ^_^

The report button is usually used to signal a moderator of bad behavoir or spam attacks (rather than for infirmary issues).

I don't think there's much we can tell you that you don't already know (especially without pictures or an update).
Sounds like the soil ph and nutritional balance got massively out of whack and now you've flushed them (12 days ago).

Good news is ... it's a photoperiod and not on a life and death timer. Other good news is .. you're still in veg so can manipulate it without too many worries.

Hopefully your soil is back in nute takeup range (ph) and has a modest amount of veg nutes in there, and should be good to go!
