New Grower Not much Duck In this AutoDuck!

Hi all,

First time grower so apologies if these are stupid questions!

I’m slightly confused, I have 2 Dutch Passion AutoDucks in week 12 from seed (I’m thinking a week or 2 from harvest), from what I read prior to starting with this strain was that it had unusual duck shaped fan leaves BUT mine doesn’t! It is completely covered (and I mean COMPLETELY covered) in single fingered leaves, leaves everywhere! Can anyone shed any light on why this might be please.....have I done something wrong (daily info at bottom), is it just an each plant is different from the last scenario or are these seeds mislabeled ??

Also my second query is that with all these leaves there doesn’t really appear to be much bud formation... I mean there’s ‘bud like’ areas but when you look close it seems to be just a giant mass of leaves!

Has anyone got any experience with this strain, I chose this because of its ‘stealth’ appeal but now I’m kinda wishing I’d started by buying a carbon filter and growing something else!

Any input would be greatly appreciated, as I said I’m totally new to this and the learning curve seems quite steep!

ehm... hmm.... thats a fuckin weird lookin weed plant mate. ive never seen anything like it. feels like my eyes are playing tricks on me. @pop22 grown a few ducks i believe. @912GreenSkell probably aswell. any advice guys? im just really confused as to what im looking at lol.

Some of the most bizarre plants i have ever seen!!

I have not tried the autoduck, though i have grown the frisian duck(photo). The bud on my frisian duck were airy, but nothing like yours! Not really sure what to say on this one!! @Waira check these out!

ooh what kind of cfl is it mate? might be something to do with that. ive got a 14k cfl thats awesome for seedlings but couldnt grow buds with it if my life depended.

That's definitely a duck hybrid.I've seen those single leaves on my revegged ducks. Don't know why your plant is totally like that but, anything is possible with genetics

so that will form into proper buds then? just doesnt look like buds to me im so confused.
