I had another journal i started just cant find it.
Anyway i took a really nice northern lights express and a FB green crack plant and reversed it to male flowers.Took the pollen and got the NE very pregnant.Got about 500 seeds on her maybe more not sure and here are 6 of them.I sprouted 12 but took the best 6.They all looked really good so it was hard to decide but roots were the deciding factor.I made these seeds from 2 of my best autos out of several.These were my favorites so this run should be good.
I plan on topping them and putting them in a 60x45 inch scrog under 2 315W CMH lights in a DWC recirculating system i built hooked into a waterchiller.Total system gallons is 47
right now there in a tote with 1/4 strength nutes and rolling.Last one went in the tote yesterday so i will count today as day 1.I swore i would never run autos again but said fuk it i really wanted to see what thee northern lights GC crosses would do.Im sure 1 or 2 of these plants are gonna be amazing.

gotta say if there is one thing about an auto is they grow fast as hell.
3 days and in about 25 days ill have a 60x45 inch screen filled in.

The ceramic metal halides will be here on tuesday.This grow will be very interesting.A home made strain in recirculating DWC scrogged out under ceramic metal halides.I have no complaints on these plants so far.All 6 of them look good.the back right has roots coming down out of the basket so its about to be on here in the next few days.
I will say i used peat pellets to germinate and got 100 percent.I had been having issues with rockwool for some reason the last 3 times i germinated so i said to hell with it.Something changed from the past and i could not put my finger on it.I switched to the pellets and had NO issues at all.I was worried the pellets would stay to wet in the baskets but that has not been the case.Everything is good.
The spacing on my plants will allow me to top at the 7th node and get a very full screen pretty quick.Everything i read abpout the CMH will give very tight nodes and more growth.The one big thing is going to be trichs and colors of the northern lights coming out in the end.I might actually have fun with these plants.

I know with DWC less is usually more.I have always noticed a plants want for more nutes during the stretch.I have gotten up to 1100 PPM before but after the stretch they really want alot less.Its a measurable fact in the control bucket.
Anyway i usually run my plants at 20 hrs of light and have ran them at 18.It always seems like plants look the best when they have had a dark period and 18hrs seemed better than 20.
I think im going to run these at 14 hours during there flowering cycle and see if this makes a better difference.I feel like the longer dark cycle will help them trich up better and just overall be more healthy.

You'll hang tight about to get crazy up in this journal.I have a really good feeling about these plants.I have really been wanting to try these seeds indoors under dwc.I made a shit load of em i know the parents were pretty dank.another week there going in the big buckets.
heres a 6 day old tap root out of control.this thing grew like 5 inches today lol.

8 days and rolling.
Since i entered these in the grow battle im putting them in the buckets tommorrow under the new cmh lights.they all have roots out of the baskets now and going into the water.really curious to see how this cross turns out.
Tomorrow when i fill the main bucket system the nutes will be quarter strength and ill work up from there.My experiences with autos in RDWC in the past has been way less is better.we will see if this strain is any different.

11 days and there in the main bucket system now.I got the CMH lights over them and so far so good.Set the PPM to 500 in the res and in the main and PH to 5.8they seem to be really liking the spectrum from the ceramics.I like em to lol.
