First timer here with a Devil Cream auto, ultra-amateur super-cheap set up. I'm at day 62, halfway through week 5 of flower and fade is progressing pretty fast.
My soil is terrible, I'm drawing no more than 54w + sunlight when possible and not monitoring pH, humidity or temp, hence buds are small.

But it's been an amazing process, learnt a lot and I'm really happy with what's come out considering all the mistakes.

I'm feeding with Bio Bizz bloom and top max through flower and I'm unsure whether to give one more feed or just water from now on - I'm guessing I have probably one or two weeks to go? I'm only watering every 4 days or so as the soil is so heavy (waaay too much clay - won't make this mistake again) and doesn't dry out.

Appreciate any thoughts!

What do the trichomes look like?
It looks to me like its overwatered as its clawing/drooping. But that could also be just because the soil you mentioned.

Yeah I've had issues all the way through with that as well as leaves rolling down lengthways into tubes and a bit of nitrogen tox - it's definitely just the terrible soil as I last watered 4 days ago. Got a nice bag of light mix for my next grow! Trichomes probably 70% cloudy on most buds, very light scatter of ones that look a little darker.

I personally wouldn't add anymore nutes.
Let the trichomes all cloud up...and chop...youre almost there if not already there. Personally I usually chop when I'm mostly cloudy with a few clearish trichomes. I'm not really into the couch lock
Buzz. Either way you made it to harvest! Not bad for your first time! You'll be reaping the rewards soon enough!

Yeah pretty much staggered to harvest haha. Thanks - that was what I was thinking... I'm also more into an energised buzz so I'm starting to get excited that it might be time to just go for it :D

I had a similar experience with not so great dirt.

I have only completed two grows so far. My first was in miracle grow potting mix and my second was in clay heavy yard dirt, amended with perlite and some coco.

My first went pretty well when i compare it to the second grow attempt. The miracle grow was full of fungus gnats that i battled for a few weeks and then i got spider mites from not being careful and had to chop it too early for my taste. here are some pics from around harvest. 6.9.1.jpg6.9.2.jpg6.9.3.jpg

After that i decided to try and use some soil from my yard. I forget the ratio exactly but i used more perlite than dirt and added a brick of coco. The plant grew pretty well but had signs of nitrogen toxicity. After drying, i only got 8 grams from my second girl. Here is a pic near finish.05.12.2.jpg

I have a third plant going right now in the same yard soil showing the same nitro tox signs even though i haven't been feeding this one anywhere near as much as the second plant.

Currently getting everything together for my fourth grow which will be in peat mixed with perlite. From what i've been told, this method ought to produce much better.

Good luck with your next grow. I hope you get better yields next time. When you do start your next grow tag me in, i would like to watch.:smoking:

Yeah your yard dirt one seems to be having all the same issues I've had. I got a bag of cheap topsoil from a local supermarket. Nitrogen tox signs (constant clawing) even though I hardly used any, on top of signs of overwatering the whole time (it looked a lot like it was rootbound too but the pot is plenty big...)
Your first one looks great though!
As soon as I chop this I'm starting a sour orange (only got room for one plant) and I'll def clue you in!

Yeah good medium makes the difference. lol now i know it from experience.

I'm pretty excited to get started on my next grow. Got some auto ultimate seeds coming, hopefully they get really big.:growing:
