Noob LST Question

This will be my first cannabis grow out here. I’m in the high desert (4,600’) so I don’t get as much heat as much of the state. We also tend to get more clouds & monsoon.

I'm in the valley so it gets up there. I'll be curious to see if my plants can handle the high heat. Other plants do so I don't see why not?!

I’m going with 2 balanced hybrids to try to get the best of both worlds-Sativa for day heat & Indica for the chilly nights.

My thinking was go by region. I was going to try something Afghani for the hotter months. I'd love to hear an expert's opinion on that.
