Unfortunately Invader Zam #2 dampened off shortly after the last round of photos.
But the timing of Ripley's OG alongside Blue Microverse F5 couldn't be more desirable for breeding. I had my mind set that I would mate these two at some point if conditions allow. This particular pheno of Ripley's OG is a stellar example of it's genetic line and is a stellar candidate to create a hybrid.
Ripley's OG
Day 61
Blue Microverse F5
Day 33
And under the current circumstances, I almost feel like I shouldn't pass up the opportunity to at the very least, try. The ancestral lines of the two would definitely produce a special offspring..
So as of yesterday, the reversal process has begun for Blue Microverse.. If I manage to pollinate Ripley's OG, and it's what I expect. I'll stack up gens with her eventually. If I am successful I will affectionately call this hybrid offspring,...
Ripley's OG, Day 62 and she's stacking buds nicely. Hopefully Blue Microverse F5 will fill them with seeds.. She's receiving Bloom Nutes weekly; Flower Girl, Kelp, Fish Bone Meal,DTE, and Worm Castings. And, a steady FULVIC Acid, and Silica supplement every watering at 1/4 dose as of now.
Ripley's OG Day 65 and she's plumping up, and is heavily trichome covered. She smells of chocolate, coffee, and a slight gas. Hopefully Blue Microverse F5 will fill her with seeds..
Blue Microverse F5, day 41 and day 9 of STS. I'm patiently awaiting reversal, and hopefully it comes in time to pollinate Ripley's OG. If not, I will at the very least be collecting her pollen for future breeding projects.
Ripley's OG, Day 71 and she's stacking, and bulking up. She's been an easy growing cultivar. She has very pleasant milk chocolate, and coffee esque aroma, mixed with a slight pinene, and skunk edge in the background.
Absolutely gorgeous plants and I've been trying to keep my eyes open for the Blue Microverse but I decided to get the pack of Episode 1! Also I think the Ripley's OG is absolutely beautiful and filling up nicely and I hope all goes well with the reversal, will surely be hanging around to see this one to the end. Bummer about the first Zam but the other one is looking strong!
